It's a surprise, meet you at Beverly Centre in an hour." I texted Jake. I figured since Nick wanted me to
be into him, we probably would be seen in school together alot. And..let's just say that my reputation
wasnt awesome right now, so dating a nerd would soo not look good. I mean, jake was cool and all
but that was'nt what everyone in school thought, and I figured the least I could do to boost my popularity
was be seen with a hot guy. Jake had potential..and i was gonna prove it. If someone could pull a
makeover, it would definitely be me.
** Three hours later**
"Whoa Lisa I knew that girls are into shopping, but you bring it to an entire new level! I sure did'nt see
you as a shopaholic when you challenged me to Wii! Speaking of it, I'm up for a game anytime.." Jake pleaded.
"Okok, we're almost done..just a few more stops." I said firmly. " YOu do want this makeover to turn out well right?"
"Puh-lease, this whole thing was your idea! I just thought it would be interesting to have a makeover..who knew you were so serious about it?" Jake panted.
We had been rushing from store to store, trying on clothes of all styles..from punk rock to casual chic,
gotten Jake a super cute hair cut that enhanced his deep blue eyes, and even i was kind of exhausted!
As we exited the last store of our spree with our hands filled with shopping bags, Jake mock
celebrated, "Finally!! I'm--"
He was cut short by the sight before us. Tears started stinging his eyes before i could comprehend the
situation. As I looked on, I saw a guy and a girl kissing passionately, and they were getting intense, as
the guy started feeling her up. That guy looked vaguely familiar..maybe from school? Suddenly, reality crashed down.Hard.
"Umm, i presume that's your boyfriend?" I whispered.
" You mean my EX." he muttered fiercely. " Come on, let's start this makeover."
