Hello :)
This is my first story on Wattpad and I'm excited to see how it turns out! I hope you guys like it and I will try to update often, but I'm usually pretty busy. Please feel free to comment. ;)

"So, what do you think?"
"It's an insanely crazy idea," Ally said, pulling her fingers through her hair.
I shrugged. I had expected that reaction from at least one of my friends.
"It's nearly impossible," Joy pushed her big, round glasses up her nose. "I mean, if I've calculated this right-and I do believe I have- then there's no way we would be able to do this. First off, there's no way we'd be able to raise enough money just in a month. Second, we couldn't possibly make that many miles in a month. "
A snort sounded from Paige, "sure, it's crazy impossible. But that doesn't mean we can't do it. It's a challenge."
I nodded, and grinned. Of course Paige would be all for it, she was the yolo-ing, up for a challenge, daredevil type of girl. And Ally was so primp and "perfect" that she would never dare to think of leaving her organized home, her huge wardrobe, or her lawn chair by the pool. Not for a weekend, much less a month. It was hard enough to get her to our sleepovers, and most of the time we ended up doing them at her house because of it. And then Joy of course, would calculate the money, the time, the impossibility. I just hoped that we could actually take this trip this summer.
Surprisingly enough, my parents agreed to let me go, just so long as I came back in a month, didn't crash my new minivan, and didn't get into any sort of drugs. Oh, and then there was the rest of the whole long list, but I hadn't even read through all of it. I could hardly believe my mother would actually write everything down.
But the actual trip,
I was used to being disappointed, from the events my parents would never let me go to, to the almost-boyfriend that broke my heart. I knew you couldn't always get what you wanted, but this I REALLY wanted. I wanted to go on a super long trip cross country, across states, only Joy knows how many miles, in a month. One month. And what was even more crazy, was that I didn't even know what state I was heading towards. I was just going. Traveling, touring, exploring. All before my summer was over and I had to go back to school, my senior year. This was my celebration, my congrats to myself surviving my years of high school and making it to the last year.
But could I actually do it? Would my friends decide to get on board? And could I plan it before next month? Plan it in two measly weeks?
