backstory

3rd person POV:

Fire burned bright with a sickly sweet aroma circling the city. Paris was under attack, and in this time no one had been there to save them. A man with Blond hair ran into the building to save another screaming victim that had been caught in the burning building. On the other side a woman with black hair with a red streak in it ran into the other side trying to save the same victim. Two children screamed for their parents as they watched them disappear into the smoke filled structure. It had been several minutes when the building collapsed, and the akuma had fallen along with it. Both children cried out as they were dragged away from the scene. Both Lucas, and Ember watched as their parents ran into the building, and never returned.

Being twins they felt the same pain of losing their parents, the same fear of being taken away, the same reality of losing one another in the folds of time. Several days later each twin was separated into separate families taken away from each other at only five years old. One taken away to America another stayed in Paris, but the threads of fate had no intention of keeping them apart forever.
