My mom always tells me to be myself. To be honest. But how can you be honest in a world were everybody lies. How are you supposed to be true when everybody is fake.
My mom. My dad. My teachers. My friends. Everybody. Nobody reveals their true self fully to the world. Every single human-being has their secrets nobody knows about. But still I was passionate about those secrets. I love secrets. And everyone knows that I am the secret keeper.
Now you may think that I'm lying too and that I could never keep so many secrets to myself, but that's what makes me special...I don't feel the need to tell other people about those secrets. I'm just who I am and I think that this is the best thing I could be.
*May, 22nd*
The most annoying thing in the world must be the alarm clock. I mean what could be worse. And of course school is in second place.
So as I sadly make my way out of bed to the bathroom and try to make myself look like a human again, I think about what will happen at school today. I mean will it be like every other day ( what I'm assuming ) or will something happen. Maybe a new student or new seating order.
After I'm done with breakfast and with my morning coffee. I grab my bag pack, my keys and my jacket. Walking to the bus station is the best in the morning. I love the fresh air, the sound of the birds singing and especially in winter time I love to see how the sun rises.
•Good morning Beautiful!• Grace my best friend says while pulling me in a big wa hug.
•Good morning Miss Cloud• I greet back. We've known each other since kindergarten and been best friends since primary school. The only difference we had was that she is a morning person, she loves school and she is the loud one.
•Did you get enough of sleep last night, because I sure did and I'm so ready for this day.• she told me with a smile on her face.
•Yes I got enough sleep but I still am tired as you may see and I really don't want to go to school.• I reply to her question. She looks at me and nods her head. She always does that when I say I'm tired.
As we arrived we both got out the bus and made our way to the classroom. We entered and sat down because our teacher was already here and he had just begun to introduce us to...
My Neighbour?! Daniel Right. This must be a mistake. My neighbour is a 22 year old college student. How come he is here. But then I saw another person entering the room.
•Students, this is Darcy Fog. He will be attending this class this year.• Daniel began to explain. After he said that his eyes meet mine. I know this would end bad.
•Eleanor, are you okay with showing him around?• My teacher new that I would say yes. And Daniel give me a little smirk. Of course i nodded yes and my teacher gave me a thankful smile.
After Darcy was seated between me and Grace, I started noticing that he hasn't spoken a word since he came trough the door. Nobody in here knows his voice. I also noticed his blue eyes and the black styled hair. He sure was beautiful, but a part of him was somehow hidden away from everyone around him. Even though he had nothing black on him except his black hair, he seemed so dark. And the feeling that he had or even was a big hidden secret, wouldn't leave me alone.
•You are staring at me.• He said quiet so the teacher would not hear him. I bet he thought I would be turning away and that my cheeks would turn red, but I am not that type of girl. He turned his head in my direction and saw into my eyes.
•I know.• I answered still staring at him. Trying to find out why he seemed so dark. Darcy got tired of my staring and turned his attention towards the teacher. After I realised that I wouldn't find anything about him that could explain the darkness, I just doodled a little and kept attention to what Mr. Brown was saying.
I want to know his secret. What was the darkness. Darcy Fog, who are you?
