love's often funny
some think love's bought with money
sure can't change their minds
i've traveled cities
towns .. all over this country
saw women with scars
looked like railroad tracks
up and down their frail bodies
asked if I need love
I said no .. i'm fine
they said come on .. help us out
I said i've no drugs
I warned them to stop
shooting drugs .. to get a life
they looked almost dead
