Twenty-One

Brad's parents died the same way mine did? No such thing as coincidences right?

" In the bank on the 23rd of March this year?" I asked as that was the day I lost my family because of the explosion. She nodded her head. "Yes. Mayfair Bank" She then added, I nodded my head. It was the same bank, the same day, both of our parents died the same way. "That can't be a coincidence can it, all our families died and did Michael, Luke's and Ashton's die too?" She asked me. I nodded my head. "yeah they all have" I say. " I think we might need to all talk," She said getting off my bed." what about our talk?" I ask, as I wanted us to get to know each other as well as spend time alone. "it'll have to wait as I think this might be important" She said, I got up and we walked out of my room I shared with the boys and walked downstairs to see everyone in the living room apart from Tristan.

"Hello love birds" Livvie grinned, "we aren't together," Yn said as we went and sat down. Livvie frowned, "why not?" she asked looking at me. "not yet anyway," I said to her and she smiled at me. "where's Tristan anyway?" Yn asked them. "no idea," Brody said shrugging his shoulders. That was strange that nobody knew where he was but I didn't care.

"I and Yn were talking and we discovered something," I say to them all, "that you don't have a dick and your# finally realised you're a girl," Michael said, making Brody, the boys and to my surprise, Brad laughed. "that was a good one," Luke said laughing. I shot him a look and he stopped laughing. "carry on" He said, I nodded my head. "Well I and YN were talking and I told her how my family died," I said, the boys just looked at me. "You actually told about your family?" Ashton asked me, I nodded my head.

"Yeah I did and we both then realised that the way my family died was the same way yours did Brad," I said looking at him now. Brad just looked at me, "explosion at Mayfair Bank on the 23rd of March?" He asked me, I nodded my head. "yes" Brad didn't say anything, he was silent and so were the others.

" So it had me thinking that maybe we need to get it out in the open to how our families died because everyone one of us in this room doesn't have their families anymore. We wanted to see if any more of our families died the same way" Yn said to the others.

Third Person's Point Of View:

All the others one by one declared to the group, the other group mainly how their families had died, it shocked them all when they realised after telling each other how their families died, that at least one person from each groups family died the same way. Brad and Calum's families died from an explosion at Mayfair Bank. Brody and Ashton's families died from a fire at their workplaces. Livvie and Michael's families died from the family cars being run off the road but from their injuries they maintained from the accident, they all died at the scene.

Yn's and Luke's families both died from a car crash in which they were both in the cars but they both survived whereas their families didn't because of their injuries. None of the incidents was ever found suspicious by the local authorities they were just written off as unfortunate events that had occurred, all the incidents happened two months before the unknown source started scaring people out of town. All eight of them were sat silently listening to everyone say how their families had died.

" Am I the only one thinking how suspicious and coincidental this is?" Ashton said breaking the awkward silence that fell between the group since they found out. "there is no such thing as coincidences, not like this," Brad said. If you looked around the group you could see some of them nodding their heads in agreement with what Brad had just said.

"then what do you think happened then?" Luke was about to ask when Tristan walked in. " where have you been?" Brody asked Tristan, as no one knew where he was in the house. " what do you mean, where have I been? I've been in the house" Tristan said back hesitantly.

"really because we've all been in this house and not one of us has seen you," Brody said raising his eyebrow at the boy who stood in the doorway. " I was in the attic, where else would I have been, outside?" Tristan said then laughed.

"I don't know, were you? because we all know that nobody steps foot outside during daylight because of the unknown source" Brad said, his voice stern. Tristan looked at the younger curly-haired boy. " Well, I was in this house." Tristan said gritting his teeth, Brad nodded his head even though he didn't believe him. "bullshit, because if you were in the house one of us would have seen you, Tristan." Brad said standing up and walking over to him. Tristan just watched him, while continuing to grit his teeth even though he wanted to hit Brad for calling him a liar, even though he was correct.

"So you're calling me a liar. I must say, Brad, I hate being called a liar" Tristan said. " You're talking like I actually care about what you think because quite frankly Tristan, I don't care," Brad said to the tall blonde. Tristan looked at Brad, grinned while shaking his head. " watch your mouth, Brad because I won't hesitate to put my fist against it" Tristan threatened him. " No wait a minute nobody is threatening anyone else in this house," Brody said standing up and walking over to the two boys. Tristan looked at Brody.

"apologise now," Brody said to Tristan, Tristan snickered. "I don't apologise for anything, remember that," He said before walking away from the living room and walking up the stairs. "he was outside, I know it," Brad said. "I think we all know that Brad, why would he be out during the daylight is he asking for a death wish or something," Luke said. "fuck knows, but I don't trust him," Brad said.

Brad and Luke didn't trust Tristan, Yn with her trust issues didn't know what to think of Tristan the others were starting to get a little wary of him especially now as he was lying about going outside. He said he was in the house when the others that downstairs knew he wasn't as they would have seen him at one point or another if he actually was in the house. Why would he lie about it and why would he go outside during the day knowing the unknown source could be watching that's what they were thinking?

The group didn't know Tristan was working for the unknown source so he could go out during the day without worrying about getting hurt as they did. He had to go outside today as he had to meet up with the unknown source after being asked to do so by a coded text message.

The others were still unaware that Tristan was the eyes and ears for the unknown source and soon he was going to start causing problems between the eight of them but they were already starting to get suspicious about him and now they had all found out about how everyone's family had died. They had realised it wasn't a coincidence but they were yet to realise that it was down to the unknown source.
