Danika's p.o.v;
"Mommy we're gonna be late for school." My little daughter Hailey jumped up and down on my bed.
"Oh my god." I threw the blanket off of me with my eyes still closed and ran towards the bathroom.
"Baby go and dress yourself quickly." I yelled from the bathroom to Hailey.
"I already did." She squealed.
I quickly brushed my teeth and my hair.
Then I ran back into my bedroom and got dressed.
I looked over at Hailey and froze in my position.
"Cutie you can't wear this."
She was wearing her pink pullover, my black business skirt and a yellow hat with green sunglasses.
"Why ?" She looked down at herself. "I feel pretty." She chuckled.
"It's just....not for school." I pressed my lips together.
"Okay." She crossed her arms and gave me a disappointment look.
"Come on." I took her bridal style and walked towards her room.
I blew cold air on hair neck because I knew it would make her laugh. She is very ticklish.
"Mommy" she chuckled.
I sat her down on her bed and went towards her wardrobe.
"You already brushed your teeth, right ?" I asked as I took some clothes for her.
"Yeah." She said.
"Really ?" I turned around to face her with my left eyebrow raised.
"Yes mommy." She smiled and laid down on her bed.
"Okay." I smiled and began to dress her.
"Ponytail or bun ?" I asked her.
"Ponytail." She smiled.
I brushed her hair and made her a ponytail.
I walked into the kitchen and did Hailey's breakfast.
Just 2 sandwiches and some apple juice.
I put her breakfast in her lunchbox and walked out of the kitchen.
"Honey you're coming ?" I put her lunchbox in her bag pack.
"Yeah I just grab Mr.President." She yelled from her bedroom with her high pitched voice.
Mr.President is her stuffed animal.
She has him since the day she was born.
It was a gift from my parents.
Hailey doesn't go anywhere without him.
I sat on the ground and took my shoes on.
Suddenly I heard little footsteps.
"I'm done." She swung Mr.President in the air.
"You look great." I laughed still sitting on the ground.
"I know right." She puckered her lips. "And guess what..." She giggled.
"What ?" I smiled and looked up at her.
"I am bigger than you." She raised both of her eyebrows and laughed.
"Yes you are." I kissed her cheek. "Here" I handed her, her shoes and her jacket.
I got up and also put my jacket on.
I turned my phone on to look what time it is.
Shit....7:44am and we have to be there at 8am.
"Okay baby let's go" I took her hand and in the other hand her back pack with my keys.
I locked the door to our apartment and speed walked to the elevator with Hailey.
We went to the underground parking where my car was.
She opened the door where her seat was and buckled herself by her own.
I also quickly got into the car and started it.
"You okay ?" I asked.
"Yeah" I could hear her nod.
During the ride I saw her in the sideview mirror playing with Mr.President.
I smiled at this sight.
To see her that happy makes my heart flutter.
All I ever wanted was her to be happy.
