Your first experience in a televator varies from person to person, some people have reported the whole thing to be quite pleasant, like every individual atom of your being was being properly scrubbed and cleaned. Other people have called it horrifying and said it to feel like every single atom in your body was being stripped to it's core. Of course, they're both right, it all just depends on your perception when you do it. Lewis' perception was clearly the latter, if not worse.

Lewis wriggled and squirmed in the tight tube as his atoms slowly disappeared, it was an odd sensation, he could still feel his feet, but they weren't there, like they were still connected to him, but they weren't.

As the disappearing particles rolled up his torso, Lewis' brain was whirring, mostly with questions of 'Oh god, what's going on?', 'What's happening?' and 'OH GOD WHAT'S GOING ON!' but one thought was standing out above all the others

What happened to my socks?

It's very often the first sign of insanity when someone starts asking questions that make absolutely no sense, this was however not the type of thought, it was actually completely sane. The disappearing particles had just begun on his nose now, Lewis was preparing for the worst, he closed his eyes and held his breath.

Several seconds later, he opened his eyes again. He realised that he was still alive, though his vision was slightly blued, he brought his hand up to his face, he was wearing goggles now. Lewis thought that this was odd, not too odd however, in comparison to what had gone on earlier, it was actually more or less normal. Lewis looked down at his torso, he was now wearing a sort of blue and white tracksuit, a much needed change from the much-less-comfortable-when-running flannel PJs. Before Lewis could inspect himself further, the doors of the tolerator opened with a vwoosh, on to a big hangar deck, a giant hole in front of him was where seemingly space ships flew in and out. "I'm in space" Lewis said to himself, the reality of it all finally dawning on him. "I'm in space!" Lewis repeated

"Damn right you're in space" said Brüce, who appeared in Lewis' visor, his name popped up below his faces. The translator automatically fed the words into Lewis's ears and he could finally understand the Blork. "Fantastic piece of kit these visors" said Brüce's left head "Automatic translation and face recognition, let's not forget the GPS tracking syst-"

"Less talk!" said the right head "more fighting!"

"You're both idiots" said the middle head in a dazed tone "Can you believe i have to live with these too" he looked at Lewis from under his waning eyelids, Lewis just shrugged, he may have been able to understand him now, that didn't make his size any less scary.

"Fine, follow us then Mr Spencer, we'll show you to your ship." Lewis, not wanting to argue with the three headed brute, just followed him.

Lewis didn't know what this 'Mr Spencer' stuff was all about, his name wasn't Spencer, it was Lewis, Lewis Fording, then again, Lewis Fording didn't exactly sound like the type of person who would be flying space ships around the galaxy. Lewis didn't realise that the ship was so big form the bit that he had seen in the level below. The hangar itself was almost as big as his entire school, it housed all different types of ships, each and every one of them looked like they were taken directly out of a sci-fi film every single one was silver with a blue trim 'That must be their colour' Lewis thought to himself. Brüce walked to one of the smaller spaceships

"May i present, The Blitz, one of the fastest ships in the universe, It can do 10 parsecs in 10 days." Said Brüce's left head

"But only if it's left running at full speed for the whole day" moped the middle one.

"Who cares how fast it goes! This baby can take on anything with it's cannons! Mop the skies with those rebels!" the right head roared with rage.

"Yes, the firepower of the beauty is quite commendable, it is however, temperamental, so be gentle"

"We wouldn't want you to blow yourself out of the sky, that would be a terrible disaster" Brüce clicked a button on his visor and the ship opened it's cockpit, revealing the controls inside, Lewis' face lit up as he saw them, 'Finally! Something i recognise!' he thought to himself excitedly, the controls were the resemblance of an arcade joystick and buttons, in the middle there was a small screen which Lewis assumed that something also very familiar would come up on.

"Well then!, time is of the essence!" The left head exclaimed ecstatically, once again, Brüce grabbed Lewis by the back of his shirt and raised him above the ship. "Once you're in space, you'll be on your own until you reach the Alpha Point, but that should be a walk in the park, we have already cleared the way of any stragglers" Lewis was dropped into the pilots seat, and the hatch closed over him. The left head mouthed "Good luck" at him and tapped the spaceship before walking away. Lewis just sat, looking at the space in front of him. He took a deep breath in,

"What the hell am i doing?" He muttered to himself under his breath, the reality of the entire situation dawning on him, he wasn't in Kansas anymore and he sure as hell didn't have any magic shoes. With nothing else to do Lewis took the joystick in his hands, his fingers hovered over the green button, he pressed down and seared a hole in the wall of the hangar. Lewis jumped up in his seat as the searing plasma shot out of the ship. Pushed down on the other button, determined to get the hell out of there before the Brüce kicked the hell out of him for burning a hole in the walls of his nice new ship. As he pushed down the space ship raised itself up, although Lewis was scared about the fact that the whole thing would probably fall apart, he couldn't shake the feeling of joy he got from the fact that he was actually flying a real life spaceship, well, as real as he thought it was. A small smirk widened into a maniacal grin as he pushed forward on the joystick and shot himself out into the depths of space.
