I remember the day I met him...

It was raining out, because you know, Texas is bipolar as hell. I got to school early so I just waited and waited outside, watching the jocks arrive. When the doors opened I started walking but heard something and looked back. There was a guy on a skateboard, stopping to wait for someone who yelled at him.

I had seen him around school plenty, but never really talked to him. I wanted to, but I was too insecure with myself. He intrigued me, he was mysterious and fascinating. He had shoulder length curly hair, and a beautiful smile, but a girlfriend who didn't deserve him. I continued walking and found a place in the hall to sit.

I zoned out, but someone bumped me and I looked over, it was him...

"Sorry." He said with his big light green eyes.

"It's okay..." I barely whispered back.

I sat there and just listened to his voice. It was so calming, and his laugh could make the most ornery person smile.

"What's that?" I asked about something he had said.

I can't remember exactly what was said after that, except that it was short. He was timid and barely made eye contact, but when he did, I could've gotten lost in his eyes for days.
