Laughter filled the air as two kids played on a swing set.
"I bet you can't get higher than me," the little girl giggled as she pumped her legs, trying to reach the sky.
"Oh yeah?" The boy challenged, as he focused on gaining momentum. Suddenly a scream pierced the air. The little boy turned to see the girl had fallen off the swing and had hurt her knee. The boy quickly rushed to her side.
"Are you ok?" The boy asked, examining her knee.
"It hurts," the little girl whispered through her tears.
"Will a kiss make it better?" The boy didn't wait for a reply as he began giving the girl light kisses all around the area where she had been injured.
"Stop it!" The little girl giggled. The boy smiled, proud that he had stopped her tears.
"I hate it when you cry, it makes me feel like I am hurt as well."
The girl smiled and looked up at him. "I love you Gray, promise me we will be bestfriends forever? Even when we are old?"
"Even when you have a boyfriend Ally?"
"Ewwww boys have cooties," the little girl said, scrunching up her face.
"But I'm a boy," Grayson replied chuckling.
"Your special you don't have cooties, I tested."
"Yes we will."
"What?" Alexis said confused.
"Yes we will be bestfriends together even when we are old." Grayson said smiling giving Ally a hug. He was glad when he realised that in the time they had been talking she had forgotten all about her injured knee.
"Good," smiled Ally.
"Race ya to the pack house!" Yelled Grayson as he ran away from her laughing.
"No fair!" The little girl said as she chased after him, smiling because she knew he would let her win anyways.
