So, there was a scene I cut out from the original entry because I had gone over the maximum word count allowed (3225 words). Sadly, it was a LadyNoir scene (which I tried to make as cute as possible) and I didn't really know when to post it, so I'll just post it right now since the contest is over.

Hope you enjoy this small scene. :)

[chat noir and ladybug scene that was cut out]

"Hello, My Lady, how are you today?" Chat Noir greeted Ladybug, his previous flirtatious greetings and advances had dwindled down near to nothing over the years. His proclamations of love had been repeatedly shot down, that at some point he gave up, though he still felt love for the sassy and confident Ladybug, he had fallen for another girl-- Marinette-- but due to previous rejections, he was to scared to say anything, trying not to show his affection for the girl (though he failed, but Marinette is just as oblivious as he).

Their relationship had improved, yes, they were close partners that worked well together, but now they were best friends that knew what the other was thinking-- confided in each other on their worries, they even told each other about their crushes, just not their names and little to no physical description.

Not to mention they still didn't know who they other really was under the mask. Idiots.

"Hey Chat," Ladybug responded, sending him a smile. "Today is well. I'm going somewhere later today, so I thought I'd patrol early today. I didn't expect you to be here so early, though."

"Well, Bugaboo," he sent her that cat-like smile, "I have a life, despite your doubts--" she faked a dramatic gasp and shocked look.

"No way! Impossible!" They both laughed, but he continued, rather shyly smiling at his lap.

"Am I'm going on a date-- well, sort of-- with the girl I like, the one I tell you about. We're going with out friends, but those two are obviously going to be together-- maybe they already are-- and I'd like to think of it as a double date."

Ladybug gave him a side-hug, "That's great to heart, Kitty! You know, I'm actually-- crap! Is that the time?! Sorry, Chat, I have to go!" She stood, seeing a clock in the distance, "Everything seems fine, but I would watch out for any surprise attacks. Good luck on that date," she winked, wrapping her yo-yo around something sturdy and tugged it and sent her flying, "See you later!"

"Bye, My Lady," he called out, sprinting away as well and jumping down. He used his staff to shoot off farther as it extended as needed.

It was time to meet each other without the masks, of course, neither of them knowing that fact.

Idiots.
