Katniss POV
Hi. My name is Katniss Everdeen. I have a sister named Primrose Everdeen but we call her Prim. I have a step brother named Peeta Mellark. I also have a step dad and my real mom. My dad died in a explosion. Today is the first day of school. Ugh. I have to attend Panem High School. It's all the way in District 4! Well there's no turning back. I was the first one in my family to get up. Yes! The shower isn't being used! I hurry to the bathroom and take a quick shower. Then I get out of the shower, go to my room, and put on blue short shorts and a green shirt. Oh right. Almost forgot to put on my fur boots and grab my backpack and phone. Hehe. Now I'm ready to board the train. "Hey! Wait up!" Said a voice. I turned around and saw it was Peeta. "Oh! Right. I was supposed to wake you up. Sorry." I said. "It's okay. At least I woke up in time." Says Peeta. Then the train comes and we hop on. I'm so excited for the first day of school! Not. Why is my life so cursed? At least Prim is lucky. She gets to go to school here, in District 12.
