Cheated out of who I am because of a name. A title 'ruined' my life. One would expect that going under a reputation of kindness would be good, but apparently not. People now see me as a coward, as a fool. I have a connection with the world that others don't quite see. In my world everything has a spirit, has a name. My family is made of 3 wizards and one muggle. The muggle, being my father, met my mother at the train station. He was walking around and accidently got directions from an overheard wizard family. If my father was a wizard he would definitely be a Gryffindor, I've never met anyone as reckless as him. My mother, however went to Hogwarts, was at the top of her class, and was in Ravenclaw . She was very successful and became a writer, but of course not for the Daily Prophet, my family despises it. My father became the 'helper' with my homeschooling, instead of mom. It was going be my fifth year at Hogwarts and I was horrified.

"Lara, come now," My father said softly outside of my locked door, "They didn't mean it. You need to be ready to leave in 10 minutes."

"I'm not going to make any reputation either way," I muttered while wiping my tears away.

"Lara Quaker, come out this instant!" My mother's voice called. I got up slowly, unlocked the door and stepped outside. My mother's face was full of pity and grief, "I'm sorry those boys made fun of you but you need to be ready. Do have your broom?"

"Yes, mom." I replied, starting to return to my regular smile.

"Yes,"

"Your quill?"

"Yes,"

"Ah, Splatter, do you have Splatter?"

I smiled and held out my cuddly hedgehog thatI was holding the entire time, "Yes, and I'm never letting him out of my sight."

"Ok, how about wand?"

I reached for my lovely wand. The bottom was made of pink coral and blue shells reached up the wand then faded, "Got it." My mother listed off all that I needed and then gave me a kiss on the forehead. My little sister popped out behind her, smiling. She looked a lot like me. She had blonde, wavy hair that never cooperated. She had big blue eyes (mine were hazel) a couple freckles on her nose and a large 6 year old smile. She dived into a big hug,

"Bye Lara," She whispered in my ear.

"Bye Stephanie, I'll write you all everyday." I gleamed, "And I'll visit a lot too!"

"Can you get me a autograph from Harry Potter?" Stephanie asked, peering at my mom for approval of her word use.

"Oh-" I stammered awkwardly, "I don't know about that."

My father put his hand on my shoulder, "You'll do great kiddo. Just remember what we taught you, and those videos."

I started to tear up and I gave them all a hug, "I'll miss you guys."

"We'll miss you too Lara." My mom smiled proudly, "Remember, wisdom is the key." I nodded and grabbed a hold of my trunk.I felt a little relaxed that really didn't have to walk too far, considering we lived in right next to the train station. But it was hard to explain how much I would miss my family.

The train station was packed with people. I didn't quite know where I would find the platform nine and three quarters. I saw a boy carrying a trunk and a fancy broomstick. I was in awe when I saw it was a Firebolt. I looked down at my pitiful Nimbus 2000, I perked up and followed him through the crowd. He stopped between platform nine and ten. I snuck behind him curiously, hoping he wouldn't notice me. He faced the wall and walked into casually, I gasped and walked up to it slowly.  I closed my eyes and stuck my hand through. I felt a new breeze on my hand than the temperature of  the rest of my body. I stepped through nervously, breathing heavily. I forced my eyes open to see tons of wizards and witches running around with trunks and owls. Almost everyone had an owl, I peered down a Splatter who was taking a cute nap.
