"Shh," Adrien shushed him. "Keep it down."
"Look! All I'm saying is....JUST GO FOR IT, DUDE! ASK HER! MAKE HER FALL FOR YOU! KISS HER UND-" He was cut off by this one girl..
"What are you yapping about this time, Nino?" Marinette giggled as she approached the two boys with her friend right behind her.
Adrien's whole body went numb. "Erm...h-his talking about-" he wasn't able to continue because he was cut off by Alya.
"Kissing a certain someone?" She winked, making him flush. Sure, she knew about his little crush on Marinette. It was all an accident though. It went like this:
Nino gets suspicious about Adrien who always seems to shutter when talking to Marinette. Nino asks Adrien. Adrien tells Nino. Alya 'accidentally' hears the conversation. Alya squeals. Nino and Adrien tell her not to tell Marinette.
Yeah, they are great friends. Keeping the whole 'Adrien likes Marinette' a secret.
Marinette stares at them weirdly. "Okay. Whoever it is. She is very lucky." She smiled and walked across the street to her family bakery aka her home.
"If only she knew.." Adrien sighed. Alya and Nino sighed along with him and nodded.
A black car parks next to them. He waved at his friends. "Maybe tomorrow, bye!" He said before getting in.

The next was all a blur. The usual, nothing new.
But it was now lunch. The time Adrien prayed would never come. But, due to his unluckiness... Naw!
Marinette sat at the bence with Alya who was chirping away about her Ladyblog. Her? Well, she was daydreaming about a certain black kitty.
She always wondered who he was. She really hates herself for convincing him to not reveal the identities.
"Don't you just like the idea of Ladybug and Chat Noir being a couple?" That cut Marinette from her trench. Of course Alya would bring that up.
"Yeah," she smiled. "But I don't think Chat likes Ladybug." She frowned at the thought of Chat not liking her Alter Ego.
"What a-" Alya stopped when she saw Adrien walking towards them. "Uhhh, I-I...gotta go! Nino and I have plans, so....later!" She grabbed her things and scurried off without a response.
"Wow...such a great friend." Marinette chuckled and rolled her eyes.
"H-hey." A voice stuttered. She looked up to see a nervous Adrien. "Hey!" She smiled.
His heart skipped a beat when he saw that smile. He could just melt like ice.
"Is umm...is th-that s-s-s- ARGH!" He yelled in frustration because of his stupid stuttering.
Marinette jumped back a little. Adrien blushes and mumbled an apology before seating next to her. "If it's not taken." He hesitantly looked at her.
She laughed, "It was. But she ran away so...sure." She shrugged and turned to her phone.
Adrien took a deep breath. This is it! After months of his friends and Plagg, nagging him to ask her out, his finally gonna do it.
"U-um...Marinette?"
She looked up to him and hummed a response.
"W-would y-y-you go d-date...I m-mean! Go on a date with me?" He quickly said while blushing madly.
Marinette just looked at him in shock. " Sorry, Adrien. But, I'm in love with someone else." His heart stopped. His mouth hang open. He felt tears sting his eyes.
"I'm sorry..." She said and walked back into the school.
The bell rang, signaling the students to go back in. But Adrien ran, away from the heart break, the sadness, the depression but mostly...away from her.

That night, Adrien went out patrolling in his Alter Ego form known as Chat Noir. The flirty, mischievous hero who fights alongside Ladybug.
He stopped on top of the Eiffel tower and sat on the edge, using his hands to support himself. He sighed as he remembered the events that happend that afternoon.
She didn't love him. Her heart belonged to another.
Tear welled in his eyes. Than he heard a light thump coming from behind him followed by a pair gloved hands which smelled like cookies.
"Guess who?" The voice giggled. He sighed, "Ladybug."
She unwrapped her hands.
"Ding, ding! We have a winner! Now what should your award be?"
He sighed again and turned to her. "I'm not in the mood, Ladybug. What do you want?"
She looked at him. "Well..I came here to ask you if....you'd like to go out sometime?"
Seriously? Was all Chat could think of.
"Look, Ladybug. You're a very good friend and I don't want that to change between us. I actually like someone else but I got rejected and cut class. Call me a baby but I cried all day and that is why I look like this." He said gesturing his face.
She looked closely and sure enough. His eyes were bloodshot and puffy.
But that it hit her like a soda can. He was in love with an other. She looked down. "Oh..." Was all she could say..
But that it hit her again like two soda cans at the same time. Adrien asked her out today and she rejected him. He also didn't attend afternoon classes. That only means one thing.
Her eyes widen and her head shot up. Her mind still processing the information. She finally came to a conclusion.
Chat Noir is Adrien..
Adrien is Chat Noir...
"A-Adrien?" She shuttered out. Chat's eyes widened at the mention of his civilized forms name. "H-how?"
He looked at her with confusion. How did she know?
Is she stalking me? No, that's impossible. She's shuttering. ARGH! LIFE IS SO CONFUSING!
"Its me...Marinette."
His eyes widen more. Marinette is Ladybug? Ladybug is Marinette! WTH?!
There was total silence between the two teens.
"All this time.....it was actually you?!" He exclaimed.
She chuckled, "Surprise?"
Chat smiled and pulled her by the waist, "You just made life easier for me!" With that, he pulled into a kiss which both have been longing for.
There was a flash and they were now in their civilised forms. They pulled apart for air.
"And yeah, consider that offer.....taken." Marinette smiled and was pulled back into another kiss.
They under the moonlight... Just like what Nino almost suggested.
