Monday came faster than I hoped for.

I sighed and lazily combed my hair in front of my mirror. Today, I don't feel like dressing up so black ballet flats, tight jeans, a white plain t-shirt and my brown jacket would have to do.

I jumped on my seat when my bedroom door suddenly slammed open. Cole stood on my doorway with a raised eyebrow. He's wearing a light blue v-neck tshirt, his black jacket, dark jeans and the black sneakers I gave him last Christmas.

"Are you planning to spend the rest of the day combing your hair? I don't plan to be late you know." He said.

I sighed but made no effort to do my hair faster. "You can just go ahead of me."

Cole walked towards me. "And give you a chance to skip school? I don't think so. Come on." He grabbed my bag and my comb from my hand and shoved in inside. I frowned at him.

He grabbed my wrist and dragged me out of my room.

"Why are you so strict in the morning?" I asked him letting myself be dragged downstairs.

"Because if I don't, you'll probably skip school or be lax the whole day." he answered stopping on the last step and putting my sling bag on my shoulders. "And oh, good morning!" He smiled and kissed me on the cheek like he does everyday.

"Bye Mom! Dad!" I shouted as we reached the living room.

"Take care sweetie. You too, Cole!" I heard mom respond from the kitchen.

"Bye you two." That was dad.

"See you later!" Cole replied closing the door.

He opened the door of his silver Mercedes-Benz SLK350, which he says is one of his most priced possessions. He closed my door after I have settled in and moved around to get to the driver's seat. He started the engine and off we go to school.

"Tasha! Hey girl!" my friend Maddie called as soon as Cole and I entered first period: Chemistry.

Cole waved at her and headed to our station while I stayed at Maddie and Lara's station.
