You put the coffee grains in the coffee maker and waited for it to brew while you went to get the cream. All that's left is to wait so you pulled out a nearby magazine and began reading it.

|Light's POV|

Oh wow she's so beautiful. I thought to myself as I gaze at her slightly over the table so that she wouldn't notice. "She's quite the looker huh Light kyukyukyu~" Ryuk said. "Shut it Ryuk" I hissed lowly making sure (y/n) didn't noticed. I couldn't resist looking at the way her (h/c) falls without her even trying and those (e/c) orbs dazed as she looks at the magazine and those soft lips oh what would I do to get a taste of those lips. "Hey Light she has company kyukyukyu." Ryuk Laughed. I glanced over at the door and to my surprise L!? The man who I thought got rid of was at this shop. *cling clang* the door opened and it ranged out. I glared at the man but he doesn't seem to notice me or even knew who I was! Is this L?! Or no...wait who is this man. The man looked so much like L and acted like him except he looked more decent and walked passed me and went behind the counter and held (y/n) close and at the look in her face she was frustrated "H-Hey!" I heard her and then as I was just about to get up she seemed calm. I saw the man whispering in her ear and then she giggled....hmmm...I need to get rid of this- this person he looks so much like L except his eyes were a hint red.... Who was this man...?" I sat and thought in frustration and glared at the two of them. Then the man walked out and took a quick glance at me and walked on like normal. WHO IS HE!?!

{Your POV}
I was just reading a magazine while waiting for the coffee to brew until I heard the door open. I looked up about to greet the person and he came up to me and pulled me close "H-Hey!" I looked up to see Beyond Birthday and glared at him. He then bent down to me and whisper. "Hey pretend to giggle so Mr. Kira doesn't suspect you and if he asks you bout my name just call me Ashe ok....here I'm gonna slip you a piece of paper that L sent me here to deliver....don't worry his shinigamj won't help him I know this shinigamj.. Well I better get back to my cell but I'll be working undercover with you ok? Try not to mess this up sweet cheeks." Beyond winked and left and I was still pretending to giggle. I waved at the psychotic pervert and turn around to get the coffee. I put in the cream and began to walk to Light. "Here ya go!~ one espresso with a pinch of cream!" I said cheerfully so he wouldn't suspect me. "Ah thanks..." He said. "Welp if you need anything just give me a call ok~" I said and began walking back to the counter. "Actually..." Light said. I spun around fast making it seem like what an actual waitress was. "Yeah?" I answered . "How bout you take a break it doesn't seem there's gonna be anyone else in here yet so why don't you have a seat and we can catch up?" He said with an odd smile planted on his face. "I guess so...sure" I said as I sat across from this fake man.

"So...How've you've been? I haven't seen you since college." Light asked while taking a sip of coffee. "Oh uhm I've been ok been exploring here and there nothing much..." You said nervously a bit. Light seem to take it that you're shy and smirked at you. "Oh? Where've you gone? I'd love to hear about your travels." Light said a bit exaggerated. "Oh well I've been to Hokkaido and went to Kanazawa for a bit and lived in Osaka for a few years" you lied. " That sounds nice how was it there?" Light continued and sipped his coffee. " It was nice and quiet." You answered. "That's nice....Have you been seeing anyone? Or have that special person in your life?" Light said with a teasing manner." Hah what!?! Heh no no...its just been me by myself for awhile you know just peace and quiet." You lied again but the hint in your tone makes you sound relaxed as you were thinking of L. "Oh...ok cool but what's with that guy from earlier?." Light said feeling more awkward than ever.  "Oh Ashe? He's just my perverted friend you don't need to worry about him hah!" You said. The next two minutes you two sat in an awkward silence.  You decided to break the ice and asked him "So..how about you? What have you've been doing lately?"  "Ah~ Nothing just justifying some work" Light said lookinga bit grim. But you kept your cool "Oh ok cool how about your love life?" You asked casually. "...uhm not really seeing anyone now.." Light said sternly. "Well what about that Misa girl you used to date? You didn't really hit it off?" You mockingly cocked your head to the right making you look like a confused puppy. "!!!....Oh ..heh her yeah we didn't hit it off..." Light said nearly coughing. "Awww what a shame I wanted to meet her she seems fun to hang around." You continued your act. "heh What about me?" Light teasingly asked. "Meh you're aight." You fake joked. "W-what?!" Light whined. "Nah I'm just joking you're cool." You pretended to laughed. "Oh hehehehehah...heh you're funny." Light said looking at you with a warm smile. "I know" you playfully flipped your hair avoiding his gaze. "Heh we should hang out sometimes..." Light said. "Hahah sure...oh I better get going don't want the boss catching me slacking off heheh." You said making an excuse to get away from him. "How bout Next Monday at 4:00 we can go have lunch if you want." Light asked. "Oh sure that'd be nice." You said happily. "Ok then it's settled! here's my number call or text me if you need me to pick you up ok?" Light handed you a paper with his number on it. You took it and said "ok thanks see you next Monday!" You waved to Light as he walked out waving as well. You walked to the employees room "Phew now that's finally over.... That was utterly displeasing" you said as you changed back into your normal clothes. You walked to the break room where Mark was and told you were heading home for the day. "Oh ok see ya (y/n)! I'll have a uniform for you by tomorrow ok!" He said cheerfully as you nod. "Thank you have a good evening" you bowed and walked off. "You too!" Mark replied.

You entered your apartment and slammed the door and slid down "AAAGGGGHHH Thaaaaat was exhauuusting!" You huffed as you pulled out your phone. "Time to report my status..." You said while entering the secret number. "Hello?"

Sorry I've been lazy and I didn't feel motivated so yeah but anyways j hope you enjoy and I'm sorry for the Hiatus...Laziness can be a huge disadvantage ... XD sorry if I always do this I just get so in motivated after awhile but don't worry I'll still continue to write!
