L said to you looking surprised. He walked to you and tried to comfort you but you avoided his reach. You stared down at the floor with emotionless dead cold eyes avoiding eye contact to everyone else. "Excuse us please let me and Miss (L/n) have a moment to talk things through" Watari kindly asked L, Mello, Matt, and Near to give some privacy. The young men all went upstairs to the sleeping room and closed the door. Watari took a seat in one of the couches and you took one on the other side of him."Miss (L/n) I am truly happy for what I'm doing now please don't think much of it my job is to serve and support L and the rest of the children that are at Whammy's. You don't need to get angry about it but I am grateful for your concern." Watari said. " I don't believe it...." You said " What do you mean?" Watari asked. " Is there something I can do for you to believe me?" Watari asked. "Alright if you say that you are happy to serve and support I would like you to take a week off from your service and rest please. You can support us while doing it but just keep in mind that we are fine by ourselves and you should relax alright? Please promise me this..." You said. "Alright if that's what you wish I will take a week off if there is a problem you can call anytime and I'll be there."Watari promised." That won't be necessary" you said smiling gently. After that you gave Watari a hug and went to knock on the door of the upper room to signal the boys to come out. When the boys came down Watari stood up and started his way to the co-pilot seat he pet L's head while he went. "Starting today Watari will get to rest for a week no questions about it if you object this then too bad." You said bluntly crossing your arms." Alright..." L said with a bit of a sad and guilty gaze on his face. The boys were playing a game together and didn't pay any attention. "Is something wrong L?" You walked up to him and asked. "...." No response coming from L. " Let's go upstairs and discuss what's on your mind alright?" You said while L just simply nodded. L climbed the ladder up and you following behind. You shut the door and locked it behind you. L sat in one of the futons while you sat on the other. "So tell me what's bothering you?" You asked. L leaned on your shoulder and you could feel tears wetting your shoulder. "I'm a horrible person..." L cried softly. You pet his head "No you're not. You just been too busy and so has Watari it's alright but I'm just letting you know you need to rest once in a while refresh your mind don't overwork it alright?" You said in a comforting and kind of a motherly tone. "Y-yeah..." L said with a faint tone. L looked up at you and smiled. "Heh y-you know I'm so glad that I was able to meet you." L said with a teary smile. "Heh me too" you said. You and L leaned in to each other and shared a passionate kiss. You tangled your hands in his messy but unbelievably soft hair while L hold you waist close to his. For a long period (periodically XD) time you guys kissed you and L finally separated to get some air. You and L went downstairs to check in the boys. Near instantly turned to you and L. "L! Some of the Whammy's student had discovered a important information!" Near exclaimed. "What is it?" You asked. "It's for sure Light Yagami...they have sent private investigators to act as market people and also implanted Hidden recorders and cameras in the area he would most likely be..." Near said. "So what's  the information?" L asked this time. " Matt..." Near signaled Matt. "Hm!" Matt nodded and pulled up a recording that took place in Light's room. "*Door locked* Huhuhuhuhu...hehehehe..Hahahahaah! My plans are nearly complete! As soon as I get rid of Misa I can finally get rid of my worries of her screwing up....Yes!!! I will be the God of the new world!....(long silence) although There is also a very intelligent girl I need to get my hands on before I become a god because every God needs a Goddess!...HAHAHAHAH! Oh my dear (y/n) I'll be there to claim you ....*door unlocked and opens and shuts*" The record ended. "...." Everyone went silent as they turned towards you. You were wide eyed. L's expression became grim." How does he know you?" He asked "I-I don't know all I did was see him and Misa the other time that's all!" You said. Near put his hand on L's shoulder. "L...there's no need to be like that. It could be possible that Light looked into (y/n)'s records." Nears said defending you. L's eyes softened as he noticed your fear filled eyes towards him. "Sorry..." He said while looking away. "Hmmmm... I have a plan that might help us expose Light once and for all...we can't show this recorded message for the police station it will raise suspicion on the police since we didn't have a warrant." Matt said. "Well what is it then?" Mello asked. "Alright *sigh* This is going to be risky...well for (y/n) that is....I was thinking of suggesting that (y/n) go undercover to make Light fall for her. She can pretend to love him but not to worry we can implant a chip in (y/n)'s ear so that we can track her and hear what Light is saying. (Y/n) you can say anything you want we will be able to hear you." Matt said his plan. "Not bad" Mello said. "But there is one thing about that" you said. "Hmmm?" All of them responded. " How would we be sure Light doesn't know L is alive he could've used someone to follow me." You said worried. "Hm. That could be true but if that is so why doesn't he tell his shinigami to kill L?" Near said
"Because the shinigami Light has is a very unpredictable shinigami he can either help or not." Rem said.
