Chapter 2

We finished packing and went back to the airport and while we waited to board our plane I got a twitter notification, Jonathan had posted:

Well guys its official between @Sophie_Adams (I have no idea if this is a real twitter account) and I.

A bunch of people had already reposted it and a ton of people were starting to follow me, my followers went from 1078 to 2569 in two minutes.

My sisters started texting me like crazy after seeing Jon's tweet, super excited for me. My mom even started texting me asking me if it was true and I told her it was.

Our flight got called and I turned my phone off and boarded the plane.

We landed and headed back to our dorm room to get some sleep for tomorrow's practice.

* Skip to November 27th *

We went to practice and everything was the same as usual until coach told us some really good news.

Thanks to our amazing season, we are going into the NCAA tournament! He said.

Really?! All of us asked.

Yes, we will be heading to San Diego in two days.

We left practice super excited and then went to our classes and met back up like usual on the way back to our dorm.

I can't believe we got into the NCAA tournament, Avery said.

I know, I wonder what seed and why were going to San Diego instead of Austin or Des Moines, I said.

Yeah kinda weird but awesome too.

We walked back into our apartment and started packing.

Hey, I just remembered something, Jon said he was going out to Anaheim this weekend for a game and Anaheim isn't that far from San Diego so we should ask the guys for tickets, I said.

Yeah, so you must be talking to Jon a lot then, she said.

Yeah we do talk a lot, what about you and Kaner?

Yeah we talk a lot also.

I have some good news- Sophie

What is it?- Jonathan

Avery and I along with the whole team are going to San Diego this weekend for volleyball- Sophie

That's great!- Jonathan

Yeah and your playing in Anahiem this weekend right?- Sophie

Yeah- Jonathan

Can I get a ticket from you?- Sophie

Of course, it will be awesome to see you again- Jonathan

We finished packing and turned on the TV and flipped to the Penguins- Ranger game. The Pittsburgh Penguins are my second favorite team followed by the Washington Capitals and the LA Kings.

* Skip to two days later *

Our whole team was driven to the airport and we got our first class tickets and waited to board the plane.

I got a text for Jonathan while waiting.

What hotel are you guys staying at?-Jon

San Diego Hilton- Sophie

We boarded our plane and waited for everyone else to board.

We finally got everyone boarded, then we headed down the runway, and then we were in the air gaining altitude.

We landed in San Diego and boarded a bus that took us to our hotel. When we got there coach gave us our room keys and told us to be at practice the next morning.

We were unpacking our stuff into our room when there was a knock on the door. I went up to open the door and was shocked when I saw who it was.

* Jonathan's POV *

Pat and I got permission from coach to fly out a couple days early and stay at the girl's hotel.

We reached the hotel after we got to San Diego and checked in and then asked which room the girls were in.

First we went and put down our stuff and made sure we looked handsome and then walked up to the girl's room. We knocked and Sophie came and opened the door and gasped.

Hey babe, I said.

Jonathan?! Patrick?! She asked.

* Sophie's POV *

Jonathan?! Patrick?! I asked after I saw who it was.

Hi Sophie, Pat said.

Avery get your butt over here now, I said.

What? Avery asked me, and then she saw Pat and broke into a huge smile.

Hey guys! She said.

They took us out to dinner and then brought us back to the hotel so we could go to bed for early practice tomorrow.

Goodnight babe, Jon said when the boys were leaving.

Avery and I changed into our PJs and crawled under the covers on our beds and quickly fell asleep.
