Draco Malfoy circled the room in fury as he could not get anything out of his victim. The man would not speak for hell itself and it killed Draco to have to hurt him. He hurt many people already, against his actual will but he had no choice. Harry Potter was the Boy Who Lived and Draco Malfoy was the Boy Who Had No Choice.

The amount of curses he had already thrown at innocent people was enough to land him a lifetime in Azkaban. He did not want to be like his father, devout to the Dark Lord but he had to comply in order to survive. He learned to be selfish and forget the world around him. His gaze was distant, broken, and hard, having gone through scares as well. He wore nothing but black, the color dark against his pale skin and platinum hair. His mother was more sympathetic, telling him it was not his fault. But he knew very well it wasn't, it was his fathers.

He missed Hogwarts, Quidditch, all the people that somehow kept him company. He missed Blaise Zabini, Theodore Nott, Goyle, Crabbe, even the fake affection of Pansy Parkinson. Being in Slytherin had its disadvantages for he did not have many friends, but he could've if his father wasn't such a prick. The other houses mingled and laughed together while Draco usually sat at his house table, grumpy and bored of being the odd one out.

Angelique sat at the table, lost in thought, when a sudden thump stirred her up from her thoughts. She looked to the side and saw a familiar face. Ginny Weasley has just plopped herself next to her at the empty table. Hardly anyone showed up for breakfast and Angelique was the only Slytherin girl to be up and out of the dorms. She picked at her croissant lazily as she wasn't quite hungry.

Angelique Aston started attending Hogwarts this year, her final year after Beauxbatons was invaded and shut down. It was utter chaos and Hogwarts was the only way for her to attend school, which meant she had to leave all of her friends in France and have new ones here in the UK.

"Why so sad?" asks Ginny as she gave her a quick hug.

"Nothing." she answered. "I have no friends here. Even the Slytherins aren't accepting me." she replies with a sigh.

"They'll come around. You're still new, Angelique, and they are quite vigilant at whom they choose to like." Ginny tries to cheer her up.

"I know. It's sad how I can make better friends with people outside my house though." Angelique says as she takes a sip of her tea.

"You're paired with the wrong people. Pansy Parkinson isn't someone you should be around, she's evil, really. Good thing Malfoy's not here. He would probably ruin your life." says Ginny laughing lightly.

"Who is Malfoy? I've heard his name but who is this guy?" says the new Slytherin.

"He's a nightmare. Draco Malfoy is an utter prick who likes to pick on people in other houses, Gryffindor especially, insulting them by the worst of words. He thinks he owns the place since his parents are filthy rich and he lives in a castle. Oh, I forgot, he's a Death Eater now and is probably going around killing people." she explains.

Angelique's eyes widen as she hears of this missing boy from her year. She cannot believe the Slytherin house has such a bad reputation. She's right, she doesn't fit with Slytherin but what can she do, now that she has been sorted into such a house? She just sighs and keeps sipping her tea as her appetite diminishes with time. Classes are going to start and she realized she cannot flunk her last year because it may be too late for her. She picks up her bag and gets up, following the fiery red head.

She takes quiet strides next to Ginny, keeping her head low. Being at Beauxbatons was wonderful, having great friends, a comfortable environment, and a place among the people. Here she was nothing, just another student fighting the war against the Dark Lord. She still did not understand why the Hat had placed her in Slytherin. She wasn't evil, sure she had a strong character but she could've been in Gryffindor, her simple nature was just like a Hufflepuff's, but she had nothing to do with Slytherin. If she was in Slytherin, it was because she was a pureblood and there must have been something dark inside of her that the Hat detected.

Her long dark brown hair sways lightly in the cool air in the hallways, her blue eyes shining lightly against the glow of candles. Ginny opens the door to the Potions room, where she leaves Angelique to be and heads off to her own.

Not knowing what to do, Angelique walks into the dungeon silently and takes a look around. Blaise Zabini is sitting in his spot in the back and she walks over quietly putting her bag on the desk. He looks up from his book and gives her a small smile. She sits down and takes out her textbook, pulling out her quill and parchment along.

"Hey, you okay?" he asks her while the Professor was explaining something unknown to her.

"Yes." she lies easily, "Just a little tired."

"Are you worried you don't belong in Slytherin?" he suddenly asks. "You just came here maybe a month ago."

"Yeah. I feel like nobody likes me here. I don't know. Everyone seems so distant." she replies.

"Hogwarts had its better days. It was usually more dynamic. Man if Parkinson wasn't such a bitch I would tell you to talk to her. Who do you share a room with?" he asks.

"Daphne Greengrass and Parkinson." she replies.

"My apologies. Do they bother you much?" he asks.

"Not Daphne, Parkinson can be horrible at times." Angelique answers.

They work on their potion in silence and Angelique observes her fellow classmates doing their work. The Slytherins lazily brew theirs and some Gryffindors try hard to get the potion right. When it comes to Potions, the Slytherins seem to be more gifted than all the other houses, which would justify her placement. The whole time she worked, she couldn't stop thinking about the boy Ginny told her about. She wanted to know more about him but at the same time, she didn't.

"Christ! Draco when will you stop being such a pansy and just kill the guy!" exclaims Lucius Malfoy in fury.

Draco sits quietly in the armchair and tries to ignore his father's cold words. He has become immune to most of them but never to all. He looked at his wand and thought about calling it quits and snapping it in half but he knew that if he would do such a thing, his whole family would get killed, and he would probably get tortured to death by the Dark Lord himself.

"You're dismissed you disgrace." says his father and Draco quickly gets out of the room and runs to his own, a hurt heart pounding in his chest.

He flops himself onto his bed and stares at the ceiling not knowing what to do anymore. He looks out the window instead and sees a storm coming through. He grunts and throws his wand at his desk and curls up into a ball under the covers and tries to fall asleep.

An hour later, he still hasn't fallen asleep so he kicks himself in the gut and gets up to find himself a book. His dark mark is burning lightly, signalizing the Dark Lord is in the manor. He finds his favorite book, one about a wizard who is hunting for answers when his wife disappears one day. He opens it and starts to read, a cloud of sadness over his head.

He wakes up two hours later, being shaken awake by a house elf. He acknowledges his presence and gets up. His hand itches to write and so he picks up his quill and some parchment and writes a formal letter about how he wants to go back to Hogwarts for the year. It's probably a bad idea, but he decides to give it a shot anyway, hoping to get away from his father and the prison of his castle.

I will be continuing Sylvertounged and the two will be different.

Please leave me some feedback telling me what you think! I will consider writing some parts from Draco's point of view and then Angelique's. Third person can sometimes bloody kill you.
