The Wish Of A Life Time

Chapter 1: Nightmares of future's past

                "no, no, aah!" I awoke startled as another nightmare had woken me from my sleep, it had been the third one that week. "Not again...", All the nightmares had been the same, i was walking in a bare field with my best friend, Clarence, and there were these weird trees everywhere. As we walked, the ground began to shake and in the distance i could see a small silhouette with a maniacal laugh gazing at us, overwhelming with evil power.

 "Man, what time is it?" I reached over to my nightstand and grabbed my alarm clock, it was 6:58, two minuets before i would usually get up and go to school. "Seriously, Man come on!" I had enough on my mind with the whole recurrent dream thing, but now  i'm just pissed. "Might as well get dressed at this point, stupid nightmares...", I got dressed and went down stairs and got some cereal, As I ate I heard a knock on my door and immediately knew who it was.

 "Clarence!" I yelled after i opened the door, "Hey Ry", he said "we heading out?", he asked a bit timidly. "Whats wrong?" I asked being curious, "oh, it's nothing, i just ran into that jerk Puck...". Puck was the meanest bully at our school, I fought him once, but when I realized just how weak he was, I took pity and let him win, but that just made his ego shoot up even more. "Ha! He's just a jerk who couldn't handle a punch to the arm, he's such a phony, he'll get whats coming to him if he keeps messing with us" I said heroically. "Yeah sure", he said, "now whats wrong with YOU? you look like crap", Clarence always could read me like a book. "It's those dreams again isn't it?" He asked, "Yeah" I said "but its no big deal, really".

 "Okay, okay." He said realizing he had been defeated "but don't be afraid to talk to me about it, Alright?" He was almost pleading, "Alright, alright", I said, "Now lets get going". "Right lets go".
