Granddad rushed from the livingroom with a soda in his hand. No wait, scratch that. A beer.

"Did he leave yet?!" He asked frantically approaching the teens.

"Yeah Mr. Freeman, you missed your chance." Koda acknowledged, sort of hinting at himself.

Julie eyed him for a moment, wondering why he was so affected from not saying goodbye...then it clicked.

She scowled and moved away from him.

"WhooHoo! Only one mo to go!" Granddad cackled, taking off his shirt, revealing his overhung belly and saggy man tits.

All the kids closed their eyes in disgust as they put their hands out, as if that was going to solve everything.

"Granddad come on! Put yo shirt back on!" Riley pleaded, shielding his eyes dramatically.

"Hell no! This house is almost mine! Once you and yo uppity girlfriend move the hell up out my house!" Granddad danced, swaying his hips and making disturbing faces.

"Granddad we goin to the city college, we still stay here." Riley cleared up, still closing his eyes a bit.

"Uh-uh! Nope! no! You movin out! You got til tomorrow and then I don't wanna see y'all black asses until holidays when you bring me food and gifts. Cheers!" He smiled skipping back to the living room.

Everyone stood jaw dropped, except Cindy and Rikey.

"Damn! What we gon do?!" Cindy questioned, giving herself a face palm while Riley just shook his head.

"Ol ass man."

Huey POV

On the ride to Princeton Jazmine would not stop talking. I have to admit, I missed her rambles. Ever since the accident she has been a little distant. Though....even I feel a little different. I can't really explain it, but I guess it's for the best anyway. I have better things to do with my time.

Jazmine and I thought it was best to rent an apartment, since we both already had stable jobs. Jazmine works at a pet clinic as a veterinarian's aide, while I work in the district office as a political advisor for part-time.

As we reach our new apartment I take a look at the room number

253b

I take out the key from my pant pocket and unlock the door.

I step in

It's not bad at all. Great space for a livingroom and nice kitchen

As I enter and look around I notice Jazmine wasn't behind me

I turn and head back to the door where I see her, frozen

"Jazmine." I say.

"This...This is really happening isn't it?" She smiled a bit, looking at me with her big eyes.

I nod

Deeply, she draws in a breath and walked in to examine the place.

"Wow...its way better than I thought." Jazmine uttered walking to the kitchen, sliding her light fingers across the countertop.
