part 1

So!  This is the story of the best day of my suckish life.  So much has happened but I'll just explain the main points.  I hope you enjoy this glimpse into my life...

One of my best friends J_bands5 had two extra tickets to a 5sos concert.  Her cousins are Nia and Rena from Hey Violet and she took me and change_my_fate (her name is Clarice).  So Julie picked me up because she was going to drive me and Clarice there and back.  Her grandma was there and was driving me, Julie, Clarice, and Julie's aunt and uncle.  The car ride was only about an hour and a half with traffic, so we got lucky.  We plugged Julie's phone into the car stereo using the AUX cord, and we listened to Hey Violet and 5sos.  

So Clarice wouldn't shut up about Casey Moreta, and I kept making 5sos and Hey Violet puns.  Of course, Julie was laughing and yelling at me to shut up.  But did I?

No.

So we got there and saw Julie's cousins at the acoustic hangout.  We met up with Ana and Kenny (Julie's aunt and uncle).  Hey Violet played a few songs and then had the fans get in a line so they could take pictures.  When they stood up, I was only able to hug Rena and Miranda before they went over to the line as Julie tripped on a guitar case.

We skipped going to the picture line because we were supposed to go backstage and meet 5sos during soundcheck and stay for about an hour after the concert and talk with them.  We walked onto the area with food, tables, and merch and I got a tour book and a shirt.  I also got a water from the concession stand.

We walked to the arena for soundcheck with Hey Violet, Ana and Kenny, and their manager.  There was no one there, but we heard a live track of She's Kinda Hot being played.  We sat down not too far away from the stage and put our stuff down.

Julie's cousins came over to us as Casey and Miranda went over to Julie's grandma and aunts and uncles.  I kept cracking puns and Julie started to get "annoyed" with me.  Nia put her arm around my shoulders and brought me in for a side hug and told Julie that she liked my puns.  Then, they walked down to the stage as Ash and Cal walked out.  Cal took Rena's bass and Ashton got the idea to take Nia's drums and they started playing as the girls laughed and yelled at them.

It was pretty funny to be honest.  They all looked so perfect.  We were sat down and looking at us, left to right was me, Julie, and Clarice.  We're sat in silence, living in a world of noise as all the other fangirls entered the merch place behind us.  I looked at all my stuff in my tiny drawstring bag and tried to organize it without trying to make a lot of noise.  If any of you know about soundcheck, well, you have to be very quiet and you can't be a distraction or disruption to anyone.  You also have to keep your phones away.

Julie's grandma walked over to us and said, "Now girls, I don't want you to react or anything..." as 5sos walked onto the stage.  I felt tears in my eyes and Julie's stare on my face but I couldn't control my emotions.  It was my first time seeing my idols in real life.  All my life, I've been waiting for this moment to come (pun intended hahaha {JULIE}), and it finally did.

Well that was part 1.  Keep in mind that this is REAL LIFE and not a made up fanfiction or anything...I still can't believe that this happened.  I'll update more when I get 10 votes/comments.  Please vote and leave a comment :) love you all x
