Prologue

Everyone wants to meet their idol. Every die hard fan saved their money to go to their idols' concert, attend to those mall events, buy their indorsement products, buy their albums, save their photos and musics, buy their posters, different kinds of merchandises that are included to them.

Mga galawan ng mga die hard fans hindi talaga masusukat. Delete ng files na hindi importante para lang magkaroon ng space ang phone mo para sa pictures at musics ng idol mo.

Magpapaalam sa magulang na mayroong group project o di kaya'y group study tapos kailangang duon sa bahay nang kaklase mo gagawin. Pagkarating duon ang ginawa la g pala ay mag fangirling, mag stalk or spazz.

Mga die hard fan na nagpatugtog nang kanta ng idol tapos narinig ng isa pang fangirl tapos parinigan na ng kantang naka save sa phone mo.

Mga die hard fan na nag sasalita ng Korean language kapag nakakakita nang Korean. At susundan ito na parang asong nawala.

Die hard fans will do everything just for their idols.

Risking your life just to see them with your naked eyes. People says 'What's special about them that makes you insane? When all of us are all the same and a normal people?'

If they're having their comeback, we prepare our wallet and pockets saving money in order to buy their new release album. We even compete with haters because of their insecure actions. We argue with immature fans.

Lahat tayo ay may iba't ibang rason kung bakit at kung papaano natin sila nagustuhan. Mga rasong tayo lang ang nakakaalam.

Meet ang greet the die hard fan named Xyrine. She migrated in the Philippines only by herself, her family stayed in Korea because they must prefer cold weather. Right now, Xyrine was living in the Philippines by almost 5 years so definitely she knew how to speak in Tagalog.

In the 5 years of her existence in the Philippines, she just studied hard and didn't mind in other things beside fangirling.

She gained friends and also enemies. Her enemies were quite envious and also very insecure of what she have. They always questioned her why does she likes korean idol and such. They also teases her in some way that's hard to explain.

Her parents own a big time company, but she never ask for anything else that's worth of money. Kung baga hindi siya maluho, sadyang binibigay lang lahat sakanya kahit hindi niya hilingin ang isang bagay.

Xyrine's POV

Hindi ko alam kung bakit ko ba napag desisyunan na mag migrate dito sa Pilipinas. Maybe for good? Sa limang taong paninirahan ko dito sa Pilipinas ng hindi kasama ang parents ko, naramdaman kong independent na ako. Kahit na sinusuportahan nila ako sa mga financial problems ko.

Maganda naman ang buhay ko noon sa Korea, in fact mas malapit pa ako sa mga idols ko. Dito sa Pilipinas, 'yong iba ay hindi mahilig sa Korean idols, kesyo retokado, kesyo mga mukhang bakla. Ang sabihin nila insecure sila dahil hindi ganun ka kinis ang balat nila, na hindi kagandahan mga mukha nila, na tadtad sila ng pimples sa mukha. Tapos wala silang fair skin!

I gained friends who accepted me from who I am, what I like, what I cherished. Kahit na 'yong 75% percent sa kanila ay hindi mahilig sa Korean idols. Nirerespeto parin nila ako, pati narin ang mga idol ko. Nakikipag away ako kapag pinupuno ako ng mga iba tungkol sa idol ko na hindi naman totoo.

Actually, 1st month ko palang dito sa Pilipinas ay pinapauwi na ako nang family ko. Kesyo miss na daw nila ako at hindi sila sanay nang wala ako. Pero ni-reject ko sila.

I do have better plans and reasons why I prefer to stay here in the Philippines. And they don't have any single clue what was the reason, they were all clueless.

Nag pop-up ang notifications ko. Nung tinignan ko ang phone ko, I found out na sa susunod na month may concert dito sa Pilipinas ang paborito kong banda, ang Blue Starlight...

Kinilig ako sa thought na makikita ko sila dito, finally! I will not miss that chance, not anymore.
