I looked out the window of the Ravenclaw common room as the barrier dissipated. I took out my wand and ran downstairs. On the way down a man smashed through the tower window and landed on the flight of stairs. I quickly raised my wand and shouted," Avada Kedavra." A burst of green light flew out from my wand and hit the Death Eater in the chest. Then, he fell over off the edge tumbling down all the way to the ground.
I quickly reached the bottom and ran out into the hallway. Three Death Eaters apparated and threw me against the cold stone wall. I quickly got up and killed one of them. Outside I heard loud explosions and spells being casted. I made my way out into the center courtyard. There was a large battle happening with trolls giant spiders and Death Eaters. I saw Lavender Brown in the corner fighting off a Death Eater. Then from behind her a werewolf came and started attacking her.
I raised my wand and yelled out," Reducto." A red bolt flew out of my wand and blew the Death Eater up. I started running over to her but it was too late! Suddenly a spider jumped out at me! I quickly pushed it off and killed it. I got up and escaped from the courtyard making my way over to the Quidditch field.
All was quiet over here, except for the flaming towers of the Quidditch field. I looked back at Hogwarts flaming in destruction. Then I heard a loud rumbling. I looked back at the Forbidden Forest and watched as an army of giant spiders came running out! I quickly raised my wand in the air and started shooting spells randomly as I ran back towards the castle. Just as I was running in, a Death Eater apparated in front of me! I bumped into him and we both fell down. He grabbed me by the neck and started to choke me. The spiders were getting closer and closer. I reached for my wand and killed him.
" Immobulus" yelled out a soft voice. I looked up and saw Luna with her wand raised high. She helped me up and we ran away before the spiders unfroze. Finally we made it back into the castle and the fight continued. We were making our way over to the Great Hall but seven Death Eaters appeared!
" Run" I yelled as we both turned around and started running away. The Death Eaters were blowing everything up trying to slow us down. Just as we reached a turn, Luna and I both ran different paths. She ran back towards the courtyard and I ended making my over to the main staircase.
The Death Eaters seemed to have followed her and I, was now roaming the school alone. Everything was quiet and untouched, as if a battle isn't happening right now. My footsteps echoed through the long dim hallway until I reached the staircase.
" Good evening Daniel, isn't it just a wonderful day today" chanted Nearly Headless Nick as he flew passed me unaware of the battle happening right now. I started walking up the stairs until it started to move halfway through. I almost lost my balance but grabbed the stone railing just in time. Then I heard it, footsteps. They were two floors above me but the tapping echoed through the entire tower. I drew out my wand and got ready for a fight.
Then one of the people above blew up the staircase I just left leaving a large gap with no way to go back. I quickly ran over to another staircase leading up closer to them. It started moving but I leaped out and grabbed the edge of it.
" There he is" yelled a deep voiced man. Suddenly an older man apparated in front of me on the stairs and deflected a spell right before it hit me. He was a taller man wearing a beige suit. He had a large scar on his face and was concentrating deeply. I managed to climb up and I killed the last Death Eater.
" Be careful young man" he said just as someone apparated behind him. He turned around and gave the woman a long hug. I slowly backed away and continued running up. I quickly reached the entrance of the Gryffindor common room and raised my wand up at the painting of the Fat Lady. Her eyes opened wide and she quickly ran away.
