Last Of The Spring Holidays

It is now 11:45 and me and my friend are chilling and lying in bed. We just spent most of the evening eating sweets and giggling and getting ourselves stuck under the bed. That's perfectly normal for us.

Since my sister Emily has gone to bed, me and my friend Bethany haven't said much to each other and have been scrolling through Facebook posts and occasionally speaking to each other. "Just going to the loo", "Do you need anything to eat or drink?" And "I'm tired!"

Whilst we were hyper, we laughed because my sister got stuck under the bed and actually couldn't get out. And then Bethany decided to go under too. After I'd been to the toilet, I saw her under my bed and groaned. "Bethany!! Not you!" And she simply replied "Rose! I'm stuck!!" And I grabbed her hand and tried to pull her out. After a few seconds I gave up and she was still stuck but managed to pull herself out. But at this moment we were still holding hands...

An hour later we were tired and fell on the bed. Bethany was half falling asleep and so was I. I wanted to place my head on her tummy and so I did. She looked up at me and we stared into each others eyes for a little too long. We then got up and sat next to each other and I gave her a hug and wrapped my arms round her neck like a snake around a tree. Then I pulled back because my arms weren't in a comfortable position but just as I pulled them back she grabbed my arm and put them back round her neck and then I touched my head to hers and she started slowly stroking my face. Suddenly a spark of butterflies and warm, fuzzy feelings ran through my body. I smiled. It wasn't long until we fell asleep onto each others laps and sooner than we thought we'd fallen directly asleep; happy as we'd ever been.
