The alley of the many innocent thoughts leads for many centuries. I travel from mind to mind, and lead people into the simplicity of despair. Over thinking, and over ruling peoples positive thinking. Allowing them to experience pain, and fortunately for me, leave them with a very upsetting fixed mindset that can only be removed through the power of hope, and happiness, and all that... pretty stuff that humans like. I like to look at Anareth, for example.

9 Years Old

Anareth always went by the nickname, Ana. She was bubbly, adored the colour blue and dancing. She did well in school. Mainly A's and B's and always engaged in any new challenge outside of school. Her green eyes with her ash hair, and her prominent cheekbones made any parent swoon for her to be their dream child. Her smile is only the beginning of her charm.

12 Years Old

She starts her first year of high school, and finds herself to experience emotions that are foreign to her, normally, beautiful self. She finds herself feeling sad more often and home life isn't as pretty anymore. Her father has turned to violently verbal actions, from drinking the party drinks adults had when they were having fun. Which has made her mother go to work with a frown on her once naturally plump lips. Ana always asked about why she couldn't have any. But the adults were too dizzy to answer politely. Her brother, Alan, was another source of income which helped the family. But her father disowned him for protecting the his mother and sister. He was forced to take shifts at night, when he had school the next day. None of Ana's peers accepted her as much anymore because she wore the sweaters that were assigned as uniform for students. No one ever wore them when they were cold, they wore their other clothing items for warmth. People thought she was acting out of the norm.

18 Years Old

Ana's father stayed sober for the being, she had asked him to and he obeyed her wishes. She had her birthday cake with the family after school. It had been 6 years and every year she'd buy a new school jumper. Ana still wore long sleeves. She always seemed to feel a bit chilly everywhere she went. Tonight was the first time she would be leaving with friends for a party. The first time in 6 years she removes the long sleeves. There were no clothing attire in the boutiques that suited her liking for her first-night-out. As she looks at herself in the mirror, she finds self confidence at her exposed arms.

She leaves with her friends and one of them has already brought some alcohol into the car, passing it around. Ana had felt so uncomfortable in that situation she already sensed things going downhill. Unfortunately, the driver was unexpectedly intoxicated. As she turned the corner, she manoeuvred so slow that the intersection was filled with flames.

Being the sub-conscience of many, involves work. However, it's always portrayed effortlessly. Every positive thing that Anareth was able to hold onto for the time-being represented a light of the end of the tunnel that was foreshadowed as hope.. And every negative outcome became just a torch to light the darkest parts of her journey through her subconscious. I can do wicked things to innocent people. The sad truth is, it very rarely fails for me.
