Chapter 5

Netty's POV

  Ash snapped his fingers in Tom's face in science class today. I don't know what came over him. He kind of looked cute in that trance. I think I like him. I'm really sorry about how scared I was of him. He used to bully me a lot. But he's changed, changed to win my heart. I know Tom thinks I hate him. I don't. I'm just simply too shy to stand up to him.

Tom's POV

  I told David to ask Annette if she could come to our house tonight. He agreed, and soon, Annette was standing on our porch with Joseph. "Where's David?" Annette asked nervously. I smiled at her and she almost ran away. Joey caught her. "Stay, Netzy. It's okay," Joe said to her. She smiled shyly at him. "Erm.. Hi, Tom," she said, blushing cutely. "Hi," I replied. "Come on in, Joey! Annette, you too," I added. She followed Joseph into the house. David stayed next to me. "Dude, Tom, I think she likes you!" he says, grinning. "Oh, shut up, David! She hates me!" I reply. But inside, I had the tiniest glimmer of hope.

Netty's POV

  Tom pulled me aside when Joe, David, and I were playing Minecraft together. He led me up to his room. I followed shyly. His room was full of Minecraft posters, though I think that David did that. "Annette, can I tell you something?" he asks nervously. I nod. "Annette, I love you." he blurts it out immediately. I stare at him. "Um, okay," I answer. His eyes lit up. He moved closer to me. Then he kissed me. On the lips.

Tom's POV

  I led Annette up to my room. She looked around. Then I blurted it all out. "Annette, I love you." I said. Geez, what was I thinking? That if I said that, she would automatically like me? But, to my surprise, she answered, "Um, okay," It was better than hearing "I hate you"! Then I moved closer to her. The world was spinning as I kissed her. She didn't kiss back. I wish it she did. Then David barged into the bedroom in the middle of the kiss. He laughed for a long time. Annette blushed, then ran out of the room. "David! Why'd you do that?" I ask angrily. "Sorry, mate! I couldn't help it!" David laughed some more, then ran out of the room.

Random Person's POV

  I was browsing through Tomohawk's videos on Youtube when I saw a really weird thing - Tomohawk was kissing Netty Plays! I clicked on it, and read the description - 

Hi! I'm iBallisticSquid, also known as Tomohawk's brother! Here is a short clip of Tomohawk kissing Netty Plays! I used the recording from a camera I hid in Tom's room ages ago! Also, Tom doesn't know I recorded this LOL

  I clicked the "Play" button and watched. Tomohawk was kissing Netty; he looked so happy! Netty, on the other hand, looked embarrassed and was blushing. Next, Squid came in and watched them kiss for a while, then started laughing.

David's POV

  I was waving to Joseph when I ran upstairs because I needed to go to the bathroom. Then, I just saw Tom kissing Netty in his room. Netty had a really awkward facial expression on. Something told me she didn't like Tom as much as he liked her. I started to laugh hysterically. Netty blushed and ran out of the room. Tom yelled at me. I knew he wouldn't like it when he realized I'd recorded it from a camera I hid in the corner of his room years ago to spy on him, and uploaded it on his Youtube channel.
