do gems go through sex like humans do?

Garnet: actually we do have that human ritual. All gems do go through as we call heat.

Amethyst: we're just rocks but we like to heat things up!!

Pearl: amethyst! This is serious *sighs*. Gems go through heat and we have our ways of going through it. In heat gems can do it with their chosen mate but, There are consequences to it. Gems first time going through heat might randomly follow their desire and go for any gem but it can be controlled through meditation.

Amethyst:if the gem holds it to long they would go on a rampage and just jump on anyone's bones even non gems, so if they gunna control it to much they be ready for a lust of a life time.

*garnet unfuses*

Ruby: heh.. choosing a mate is the best part of heat for the first time!!! Having a mate is the best. I'm might be the luckiest gem alive cuz I got me my sapphy.

Sapphire: *blushes* yes having a mate is a good part in heat. They help you go through your urges. Heat is a life cycle for gems because it keeps us calm and relaxed instead of a wreck. Another thing to know about the gems is that when gems are in heat they do the ritual. The gems in heat at designated places would give of a signal emitted from their gem to other nearby gems which causes them to grow in lust and go through an early heat cycle so keep away from gems in heat unless... *stops talking to embarrassed to say it*

Amethyst: unless they want to join in on the action!!!!

Pearl: we have our heat cycle which depends on the gem. For example topaz's goes into heat every after 8 months, onix's is every after 1 year. When gems already reached there heat they go through it for a whole week. If one day from the week is removed the next heat cycle will be added up to the next. Like instead of one week it will be 8 days.

You: when would be the heat cycle of a pearl, ruby, sapphire, amethyst and a Quartz.

*Every gem blushes deeply.*

Sapphire: if you must know rubies and sapphires are close gems so our heat would be every after 1 1/2 year. Pearls are 2 months and amethysts are 4 months. A Quartz would be after 10 months.

You: how about Steven what would happen to him since he's half human?

Amethyst: well Steven is part human so we don't know what might start happenin when he goes through puberty. Yea!! Any more dumb questions we have to answer?

You:*smirk* would you give a demonstration on it? Gem sex might be different from human sex so we would like to see how it works.
