Elizabeth pov
I was standing beside fathers throne in my forest green dress and white bag around my neck when I hear a booming sound. A guard runs inside the throne room and I see an explosion outside the gates of the kingdom.
"Sir we are being attacked my the Tranquils!" The guard yells.
(random enemy name)
"Get me the seven deadly sins immediately!" My father demands. Only minutes later only six people that differ in size greatly run into the room.
(Escanor isn't in this book yet, so there is no space for him)
"Excuse me your highness, but why are we not on the front line of battle?!" The giantess asks.
"I am putting my 12 year old and youngest daughter, Elizabeth, into your protection.......... Don't let her get hurt!" Father demands. I gasp. Father only looks at me. I was 12 and already developing. I had breasts no doubt, I was too shy to talk to anyone though so I had no boy friend or any friends at all.
"Elizabeth, I promise you will be safe with my most powerful knights... Remember if  you are hurt cover the wound with your hand and think of it as healed" Father says. The knight in front takes off his helmet looking at me. He is about the same height as me and has blonde hair. The blonde knight of the six of them walks up to me and holds out a hand.
"I'm Meliodas remember I teach you to fight every once in a while. I'll protect you don't worry" He says. I nod. I hesitantly take his hand and he smiles a gentle and kind smile.
"Alright your highness, I swear on my own life that I will protect her..... She will be taken to the place" Sir Meliodas says. He takes me outside and I see the knights of Liones dead or injured. I cry. I let go of Sir Meliodas's hand and fall to my knees.
"No I won't let them just die! Not while I can heal them!" I scream. I stand up and walk towards a Tranquil knight.
"You hurt them! You hurt my family, die!" I demand. He swings his sword and I catch it with my thumb and pointer finger.
"What are you?!" The knight asks in shock.
"I'm an angry child thats what I am!" I reply glaring at the knight angrily. The sword is immediately in my grasp. I gasp as the knight drops dead somehow with sword in his chest. I walk back to Sir Meliodas and put my forehead on his armored chest.
"Lets go I don't want you hurt" He says sternly. I remove my forehead from his chest and grab his hand. He smiles and we walk off. He leads me and his group to a cave. While the long walk he didn't remove his hand from mine, but strengthened his grip making a light blush appear on my cheeks.
"We will have to stay here until the war is over.... I know it isn't royalty standard but it will work" Sir Meliodas says. I see five beds and a fire place in the center of the spacey cave. There wasn't that much. I thought for a second. An idea comes to me. I walk over to the center of the room and stand in front of the firepit. I put a large amount of space inbetween my hands and smile as a golden globe builds up inbetween my hands. I smile.
"The sun and moon, god and goddess, demon and human..... I protect thee" I whisper. The globe of power floats onto the top of the cave and then splits into strings. Stings of lights sprout onto the cave roof lighting up the cave very nicely.
"Spread your ideas don't be shy" I says in a normal tone as I gaze at the globe. Seconds later the globes light its gone. There is a kitchen and a nice couch and chairs around the fire. I notice that there was a large comfy area for the giantess.
"Wow Lady Elizabeth you sure do good stuff with that power of yours.... Why don't I snatch them" The white haired knight in red amour says.
"Ban no! She's just a little girl!" Sir Meliodas yells. I feel the impact of a weapon. I flinch.
"Why can't I take your magic?!" The knight asks in shock. I shrug my shoulders and go back to Sir Meliodas's side.
"I dunno, but you are kinda scary... I mean come on, you tried to take the only thing thats keeping me alive!" I retort. I yawn and lean into Sir Meliodas.
Meliodas pov
"Looks like someones tired" I say. Lady Elizabeth nods and I set her down on the far side of my bed. She falls asleep and I sit on the couch. Night fell a few minutes ago.
"Captain why did you put her in your bed?" Ban asks. I look at him and smile.
"I can't just let her fall asleep standing" I tell him.
"Captain you can sleep next to me tonight" Diane offers. I shake my head no.
"I'll be fine. Lady Elizabeth is a cuddler anyway, Bartra is always talking about her and how she is so obedient, unlike her sisters" I explain. All of the other sins have there mouths agape.
"I'm gonna turn in for the night you guys do the same" I say yawning. I climb into bed beside Lady Elizabeth. She cuddles up next to my side and I smile sleepily. I hug Lady Elizabeth and fall asleep peacefully.
Time skip dawn Meliodas pov
I wake up from the rays of sun in my eyes. I see Lady Elizabeth still sleeping softly. I kiss her forehead. I notice my hand on her waist still, I slowly remove them from her waist.
"Morning Lady Elizabeth" I whisper in her ear. She slowly wakes up.
"Good morning" She greets. I smile.
"Your eyes are still closed, how do you know if I'm someone you can trust?" I ask. She smiles.
"I just know. Who else would talk like you Sir Meliodas?"
"Why don't I get everyone up and we all properly introduced ourselves does that sound alright?" I ask. She sits up and so do I. She rubs her eyes then nods.
"That sounds wonderful" She says. I smile and go to Ban's bed. I smack him.
"WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT FOR?!" Ban yells. Lady Elizabeth giggles and everyone else jolts awake. I turn around.
"Funny right?" I ask her. She nods and gets up. She goes to the kitchen and pulls out alot of ingredients.
"Lady Elizabeth what are you doing?" Merlin asks. She smiles.
"You will be amazed at what I can do in only a few minutes in the kitchen alright leave me to my work" She says. I walk up to the island and sit on a chair surrounding it. I watch Lady Elizabeth cook. She is amazing.
"Done!" She shouts. She takes out plates and puts food on all seven of them. She passes them out and then starts to eat her food.
"Wait I can't eat like that!" Diane exclaims.
"Give me your hand" She says. Diane lowers her hand. She pulls out a pill bottle and takes out a pill and puts it in Dianes hand.
"Take that pill" Lady Elizabeth demands. Diane takes the pill and she and her clothes shrink in size.
"Wow how did you do that Lady Elizabeth?!" Merlin asks surprised.
"I stole them I've also done alot of other illegal actions. I may have killed a lot of people" Lady Elizabeth says and eats another bite. She puts the lid back on the bottle and tosses if to Merlin.
"Shrink, thats what its called. I stole it so I could sneak out of the castle at night to go the flower field in the town square I ended up having to kill a lot of guards that were on and off duty because one of them started screaming that I was there. Poor decision on my part my sisters screamed at me when they caught me sneaking back in with the vine outside my window" She explains. I smile. She will be just like I used to be.
"I did something similar at your age" I begin. I move over and sit next to her. I wrap my hand around her waist and no one notices.
"What did you do?" Lady Elizabeth asks with a light blush on her porcelain cheeks.
"I stole drugs from other countries and sold them on the black market in Liones. Before that I killed a whole city and left a big hole in its place, it was on accident thought" I explain.
"I think you exterminated my birth place, but I didn't know anything about it anyway we have a lot in common" Lady Elizabeth says.
"Since everyone is done I suggest we introduce ourselves" I say looking at empty plates.
"Alright lets go over to the firepit" I say. We all walk over to the firepit and everyone, but me sits down. Lady Elizabeth smiles when I turn to her with a goofy grin.
"Hello Lady Elizabeth I'm Meliodas, the dragon sin of Wrath" I introduce myself.
"Please I don't like formalities, but everyone calls me a Lady, so just call me Elizabeth" She tells me. I smile again and sit down next to her. I slip my arm around her waist and she immediately blushes.
"Captain do that to me!" Diane begs. Elizabeth giggles.
"Hello princess I'm Ban, the fox sin of Greed" Ban introduces. Elizabeth holds up a hand and smiles.
"Hello Ban don't you remember me?" Elizabeth asks. I look at her confused.
"No my memory is jogged" Ban replies. I see Elizabeth roll her eyes. She stands up and holds out a hand for him to grasp.
"Hello I'm Elizabeth, come with me to Liones. I'm sure that you'd be a great knight there" She says kindly. Ban's eyes widen.
"Little Lizzy?" Ban asks. Elizabeth smiles.
"That's me you greedy fox" Elizabeth replies. Ban hugs Elizabeth. This hug it was careful, but tight at the same time. A different side of Ban comes out with Elizabeth in his grasp. Ban smirks.
"What's going on here?" I ask confused. Ban stops hugging Elizabeth and Elizabeth sits back down next to me. She leans up against it me and I place my arm around her waist once more. I'm very comfortable..... Wait I can't  think liked that! This is Elizabeth, the third princess of Liones if I think like that I'll be killed by Bartra!
"Little Lizzy is my long lost daughter of sorts" Ban explains. I sigh and Elizabeth looks at me smiling.
"Alright who's next?" I ask. Diane walks up to Elizabeth and grabs Elizabeth by her neck and carries her to a wall where she slams her back. Elizabeth coughs up blood.
"Hi I'm Diane as you know. I'm a giantess. Meliodas is mine!" Diane says. I grab Dianes wrist and put an arm around Elizabeths waist. Diane slowly removes her grip and Elizabeth faints. I carry her bridal style to the couch and lay her down carefully.
"Diane I don't belong to you! Don't bully Elizabeth because I have to protect her" I say. Ban immediately looks at her neck and so do I.
"No bruises" Ban says in a sigh of relief.
"She is the reason we aren't together!" Diane yells. Elizabeth wakes up still coughing up blood.
"Lady Elizabeth let me take you to a river to calm down" King offers. She looks at me. I nod and they leave.
Elizabeth pov
"Do you remember anything from the last few minutes?" A child asks. I turn to see Sir King.
"You look different" I tell him. He chuckles. I nod my head after.
"Lady Diane.... She... S-she" I stutter. I lightly touch my throat. Tears stream down my face and I hug Sir King. He hugs me back lightly he stops floating and I put my forehead on his shoulder.
"I can't believe she would do this, my sisters blood running through you and she hurts it" Sir King says.
"What? My mom and dad died in Danafor when I was born. What are you talking about?" I ask.
"I'm your Uncle my name is Harlequin, I have a sister, Elaine, that died in the Fairy King's Forest she was your Mom, but Ban brought her back to life. I don't know what happened to your Dad, but Ban... He cares for you, he cares for you like he cares for my sister. I can see it in his eyes when he looks at you... Ban has every right to protect you like he is your Father, but I can't even protect you from Diane!" King says. I hug him smiling.
"I have an Uncle! I have blood family! I love you Uncle! Your my family don't talk about yourself liked that please! I don't blame you" I tell him.
Meliodas pov
"Don't you have to protect Elizabeth?" Diane asks cockily. My eyes widen. I run after Elizabeth.
"I love you-" I hear. I hear those three word and I run off in the other direction of Elizabeth with tears streaming down my face. She loves King!? Why?! How could she love him and not the one who has protected her countless times?!
"Why?! Why does she have to love him?!" I yell, asking myself.
"Why do I feel like this? She is the third princess I only protect her, but still why? Why do I never get a happy ending? Why does this happen to me?" I ask myself again. I sit down on a cliff side.
Elizabeth pov
"Why?! Why does she have to love him?!" I hear someone yell. Sir Meliodas! I run off. I see him standing at a cliff side. I hide to see what he does.
"Why do I feel like this? She is the third princess I only protect her, but still why? Why do I never get a happy ending? Why does this happen to me?" He asks. He sits on a cliff. He's talking about me?! But why would he scream those words?!
"Sir Meliodas?" I ask slowly walking towards him. He stiffens.
"What?" He asks rudely. I flinch in fear. I take a few steps back.
"Go away!" He says rudely. I whimper in fear.
"Okay, but by the way-" I begin. He looks at me. His eyes full of hatred. My eyes widen in fear and I tremble.
"You heard me wrong" I murmer then run off. I reach a tree that I could easily hide myself inside of and I climb in it and hide myself.
"He scared me! I can believe it! Sir Meliodas he scared me!" I murmur and slowly drift asleep repeating those words.
Meliodas pov
"Sir Meliodas?" I hear Elizabeth ask. I stiffen in anger.
"What?" I ask rudely.
"Go away!" I say rudely. I hear her whimper in fear. I ignore it. She doesn't love me so why should I care.
"Okay, but by the way-" She begins. I look at her. I see her body shaking in fear and her eyes widened.
"You heard me wrong" she murmurs just loud enough for me to hear. Then she runs off. My eyes widen.
"I did not just do that to her?!" I ask myself shocked. I get up and run after her. Elizabeth no!
"He scared me! I can believe it! Sir Meliodas scared me!" I hear. I climb a tree. I find Elizabeth's sleeping figure. I carry her back to the cave.
"Um, Ban come here" I say. Ban comes over and I put Elizabeth in his arms.
"I think she needs to be with someone who can protect her through the night tonight" I tell him.
"Alright Captain you can tell me later" Ban says. I nod and lay in bed looking the opposite way of Elizabeth.
"Captain I think you'll wanna see this!" Ban says worried. I look over and get out of bed. I walk over to Ban's bed. I look to see him examining her wrist. I see cuts and scars. None of them new.
"What?! Why would she do this?!" I ask frantically. King comes over.
"Elizabeth! Wake up!" King shakes her awake.
"Huh what?" She asks rudely.
"What is the meaning of your wrists?!" He asks. Elizabeths eyes widen.
"I don't know I couldn't stand the silence of the castle and my father not caring enough to even protect me. It was too horrible for me too bear any longer! I felt too out of place!" Elizabeth says. I hug her waist tight. My forehead on her shoulder and tears forming in my eyes as tears drop onto her dress.
"You could've talked with your sisters! You could've come to me! Why?! Why didn't you talk to me about it Elizabeth?!" I ask upset. She stiffens up. I don't care if I scared her. She is scaring me more than anyone could ever scare me!
"Y-you weren't there when it happened you went on a quest to find the purity flower" Elizabeth says. I knew that I shouldn't have left that day! I knew something was wrong! I felt it in my gut and I ignored it!
"I'm sorry! I'm sorry for not being there when I was actually needed! I'm sorry I wasn't there for you! I knew something was wrong, but I ignored it! I am so sorry!" I whisper out. She slowly puts her head on mine and a hand on my neck. I smile.
"Can I do something?" Elizabeth asks. I nod and release her from my hug. She hugs Ban.
Elizabeth pov
I hug Ban and I listen to his heartbeat. That heartbeat. My eyes widen. I release Ban from my hug and take a few steps back. He can't be!
"Dad?!" I ask. He looks at me nodding and smiling. I smile. I hug him again. He hugs me back.
"Dad!" I say happily. He chuckles. He is definitely my dad. There is too much in common for us not to be related.
"Dad?!" Everyone asks shocked.
"Just as the results said. You and Ban are related by blood. Ban being your father. There is also an unknown blood running through you as well" Lady Merlin says.
"Elaine is her mother that is the unknown blood" Dad replies for me.
"Hey can I talk to you Elizabeth?" Meliodas quietly asks. I smile.
"Dad can I go with Sir Meliodas?" I ask. He smiles then nods.
"Hey captain no pervy stuff!" Dad says. He hands me over to Sir Meliodas cautiously. I giggle at Dad's careful hand-off.
"I want her back by sunset" Dad yells as me and Sir Meliodas run off. He stop at the cliff and then goes scarily still.
"Sir Meliodas are you alright?" I ask. He hits me with the dull side of his swords blade. I yelp. I feel my right arm bleed. My eyes widen. He attacked me. Tears fall. Tears of fear fall down my cheeks. I don't bother to heal my arm.
"S-Sir Meliodas are you feeling okay?" I ask scared. He looks at me. His eyes, a dark purple. I gasp.
"Demon" I whisper. Tears fall harder. Fear. That is all I feel right now. His eyes widen and his eyes turn green again.
"What have I done?!" He asks in shock. Tears fall down his face. Regret and Sadness is what I see in his eyes.
"Nothing, you have done nothing" I tell him. I try to heal my arm, but it doesn't work. We sit on the ground I put my hands on his lap. I give him a gentle smile. I feel him pick me up. He rests me on his lap. My legs on both sides of him. I rest my head on his shoulder. He rests a hand over the wound he gave me
"I said no pervy stuff Meliodas!" I hear someone yell. Dads, geez....
"Ban, I'm so sorry!" Sir Meliodas whispers out. He continues crying, but I wipe the tears before they shed.
"You know I'm only 12 years old and you already have me in your lap right?" I ask. He chuckles. I smiles.
"Thats the Sir Meliodas that I like to see" I tell him. I put my one good arm around his neck and give him a hug.
"Yes I know your only 12 and that your in my lap. I'm not gonna let you go you know that right?" He whispers in my ear. I feel something on my waist. I slightly tilt my head to see Sir Meliodas's hand gripping my waist.
"Sir Meliodas I'm dizzy can you carry me?" I fake ask. He smiles. He slides his hand the rest of the way around my waist then stands up.
"I am now your protector I don't care if the King disproves of it. I will protect you at all costs" He whispers in my ear. I blush while he walks into the cave and sits me on the bed.
"I'll go get the medical kit. Don't move" He says. He uncovers wound and I see the same dark purple color covering my wound. He smiles then gets the medical kit.
"Those tears, they were from regret and sadness weren't they?" I ask. He gets out bandage and begins to wrap my arm, the bandage turning dark purple.
"Yes they were... I don't like hurting you... For some reason I can't stand to see you with a guy if it isn't me... I can't stand to see you with Little Gil... Your my love not anyone else's" He murmurs the last part. He finishes wrapping my arm then puts the bandage away. He tightly wraps his arms around me and digs his head into the crook of my neck.
"Don't come near me if you see something different about me. Please, I don't want you hurt again because of me!" He whispers in my ear. I tear up.
"Alright I won't, but it's not natural for someone like you to lose control at a random moment" I tell him.
"No more tears because of me got it?" He asks. I nod. I look and see everyone asleep.
"Can we go to sleep now?" I ask. He nods. He picks me up and lays me on the far side of the bed. We both fall asleep.
