Bill was laying in his bed, with his earphones in his ears, listening music. He had his eyes closed so he could focus solely to spying the outside of Dipper's room. Dipper didn't give any signs of life since Bill saw him last time, a week ago. As much as he hated it, he had to admit that he was worried for the man. He also knew that Dipper hasn't slept in a week and that was making him even more worried. But something got his attention. He ran down the stairs and enteres Dipper's bedroom. Dipper was sitting on his bed, shaking uncontrollably. He was hyperventilating, but it was useless since the air was getting stuck in his throat. He was frightened and Bill could feel it. He ran inside the room and sat in front of Dipper.
"Dipper, please, look at me!" He said softly and cupped Dipper's face with his hands. Dipper heard a familiar voice call him but he couldn't focus his vision on the person who spoke. The only thing he could see clearly were splashes of color right in front of his eyes that were just making him grow even more scared since he was seeing them from the lack of air. And Bill could feel how scared he was and that was scaring him aswell. "Dipper, it is going to be ok! I promise you!" He said and made Dipper's eyes lock with his own.
"Now, take a deep breath..." Bill instructed softly and Dipper did as he was told. For the first few times all the air was stopping in his throat, making him panic even more, but every time Bill was telling him to try again, until he finally succeeded. With each breath he was taking he was slowly stopping to shake and his vision was slowly going back to normal. He wrapped his arms around Bill and buried his face in the crook of Bill's neck, to the surprise of the demon, who was expecting to be thrown out of the room without any thank yous what-so-ever.  He was about to say something but the he noticed the muffled sobs and he wrapped an arm around Dipper, and with the other one softly stroking his hair.
"What happened?" He whispered and Dipper sobbed once again before saying, in his morning voice, which always made Bill's heart skip a beat and get weak to his knees: "I had a nightmare, it's nothing." "Well your reaction didn't seem like nothing." Bill said sternly and Dipper chuckled. "That was just a panic attack. I have them all the time."
He said nonchalantly while waving a hand dismissively, but Bill wasn't buying it. "Then why were you so scared?" He asked with an eyebrow raised. Dipper pushed Bill away and stood up. "I'm not in the mood for your shit right now so, please leave!" He ended coldly and Bill stood up.
"I know for a fact that you haven't come out of this room for a week so I'm not leaving until you eat something!" Bill demanded and Dipper sighed. "Fine." "Perfect! I'll see you in 20 minutes in my private sutdy." He said cheerfully and left the room. Dipper stood there, perplexed, for a few moments and then he went over and started unpacking and he finished right when the 20 minutes were up. He went in the bathroom and washed his face, drying it with the sleeve of his sweater as he went up the stairs.  He looked around perplexed, since all the doors looked the same. After a minute he spotted a slightly opened door and went over to it.
"Bill? Are you here?' He whispered as he opened the door slightly more. "Come inside, Pinetree, I won't do anything to you." Bill's voice said and Dipper stepped inside. He looked around the large room. All the walls in his left and right, aswell next to him, were in bookcases full of books of all colours and sizes. The wall in front of him was made out of glass and a door was leading to a balcony. In the middle there was a large coffee table surrounded by a couch and four armchairs, all made out of black leather.
He glanced over to the balcony and saw Bill waving at him from the end of the balcony, with a big grin on his face. He went over to the demon, who greeted him cheerfully. The demon handed him a plate with streak and Dipper took it and started eating, without any questions or remarks. Bill smiled widely and chuckled.
"So I guess I'm a pretty good cook, huh?" He asked Dipper when he finished eating and the dishes disappeared into thin air. "Pretty good?! You're an amazing cook! I don't know if you noticed or not but, Mabel and I kept finding ways to make you cook because you are so good at it."?He said nonchalantly and crossed his arms over his chest. "Now, if you excuse me, I'll leave." He added coldly and the door of the balcony closed, right when Dipper reached it. He turned around and glared at the demon.
"I told you to come here for a reason, Pinetree. There is something I'd like to show you." Bill said and pointed towards the sky. Dipper looked in the direction the demon pointed towards and his jaw dropped. "Is that a black hole?" He asked in a voice quieter than a whisper but Bill heard him and nodded in response. "But...but...how it didn't suck in the whole place?!" He asked loudly Bill, who chuckled. "There are no rules here, kid. So if I want it to float harmlessly above my house I can do that." He said with a smug smirk and Dipper exclaimed, barely containing his excitement: "Holy fuck! That's so cool!" Bill laughed at Dipper's reaction and Dipper stared at the black hole one more time before running at the demon and hugging him tight, to his surprise.
"This is so beautiful! Thank you for showing me!" "Sure kid, I put it there specially for you." Bill said as he wrapped his arms around Dipper and that's when he noticed the sweater the man was wearing. "Surprised you didn't burn this sweater." He said with a smirk and Dipper shrugged his shoulders. "This isn't itchy like the one Mabel makes. And it's also very warm. Yesterday I took a trip in Sweater Town in this and I can understand why Mabel used to go there." He said and Bill tilted his head slightly, confused. "Sweater Town?" He asked and Dipper explained: "When we were little and Mabel was sad she would hife in her sweater and say she was in Sweater Town. She wouldn't come out until we would cheer her up."?Bill nodded absently and bit his cheek. Dipper stood on his tip-toes and pressed his lips against the demon's. Bill blushed and his eyes widened in surprise. Dipper soon pulled away and Bill looked at him in shock.
"Still the same. I suppose if you keep acting like now it won't be so bad, you know, living with you." Dipper said nonchalantly and Bill smirked. "So, what you're basically saying is that...you have feelings for me?" He asked and the man nodded."Yeah." He said simply and Bill smiled."I love you too, Pinetree!" He said nonchalantly and it was Dipper's turn to be shocked. "Really?" He asked suspiciously and the demon hummed in response. "Of course I am serious, Pinetree. This is a serious matter." He said and kissed Dipper's cheek. "That's why I brought you here. Well there are two reasons, but this is one of them." He added and Dipper furrowed his eyebrows at the dream demon.
"What's the other reason?"He asked and Bill sighed. He went inside and sat on the couch, followed by Dipper. "So..."He said and took a deep breath before continuing: "A while ago I made this deal and my part of the deal is pretty boring. The basic is that I have to travel through dimensions, that's the good part, and I have to record everything I find there and that's the boring part. The idea is that I wanted somebody to come with me and do the report of what we find. Initially I wanted Sixer but since he died I went with my next best option, which was you." Bill explained and Dipper hummed, thinking about what the demon told him. "Alright, I'm in." He said simply and Bill smiled widely. "Thank you! It's not like you had a choice but whatever." He said as he hugged Dipper tight, pulling away shortly after, with his cheeks burning. Dipper laughed at his actions and Bill narrowed his eyes at Dipper.
"Why did you accept so easily anyway?" He asked and Dipper shrugged his shoulders. "Well, I get to do something I like, with somebody I like and the 3rd dimension and everyone who lives there are safe." He said and the demon snorted amused by Dipper's asnwer."So basically, you trust me?" He asked and Dipper nodded. "Stanford did too and look at him now!" Bill said between fists of laughter. "Yes, but things change." Dipper said and put his hand over Bill's hand. Bill stopped laughing and looked perplexed at Dipper.
"You really think I'm not going to screw you over?" He asked and Dipper nodded and pressed his lips against Bill's. "I think you'll do just fine." He muttered against the demon's lips and wrapped his arms around Bill's waist, laying his head on Bill's shoulder.
