Chapter 24 ~ Before The Accident

Aphmau's POV
As I was walking down the street going towards Kawaii~Chan's place, I thought about me and Garroth's fight. Honestly, all I could think of was, what could have happened if I just shut my mouth.

Calm down, Aph. My inner voice said. Me and Garroth have been together for years and this was our first fight ever since we got married.

I knocked on the door, as Kawaii~Chan opened the door for me.

"Aphmau~Senpai, Kawaii~Chan got your text. Come in." She said, as she hugged her strawberry pajamas.

We talked for a while, played games, and..... I guess we just hung out. I looked back a our old memories and remembered the late-night sleepovers, pillow fights, and the times we had with our best friends back in the day. A sudden wave of guilt flashed through me. I've been so busy with taking care of the twins, I haven't been paying attention to my friends.

"Hey, Kawaii~Chan?" I called, getting her attention.

"Yes, Aphmau~Senpai?"

"I'm sorry. I'm sorry that I haven't been haven't been hanging out with you lately."

"Aphmau~Senpai, you don't have to apologize," She said, as she proceeded to hug me.

At that moment, I thought that I would spend the night here, wake up, thank Kawaii~Chan and go back to Garroth and make up to him. Simple. Oh, how wrong I was.
