my father

I'm in tears. I just found an envelope full of letters my dad used to write for my mom when they were together. He wrote one per month and attached a rose, the day of their anniversary, for 4 years. This is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen in my life, want to know why? Because all these years I thought they never actually loved each other and that my dad was anything but romantic, now I can understand how heart broken he might felt the day they split up 3 years ago, and how he felt all those 6 years were my mom fell out of love for him but didn't want to break the relationship in order not to hurt him or me. I have always admired my father a lot, and now I do even more. I hope someday I'll find someone who will treat me the way my father used to treat my mother the first years of their love story.
