Hope Elizabeth Hanley-Soberano,better known as Liza Soberano,a Filipino-American model and actress was born in Santa Clara,California,U.S.A. on January 4,1998 to a father, John Castillo Soberano and mother, Jacqulyn Elizabeth Hanley.
She was raised in California by her grandparents in her father's side when her parents separated.
Year 2008 at the age of ten, she moved to the Philippines with his brother,Justin David to live with their father.
After moving in Manila,Liza was offered jobs like modelling.
At the age of 13,a talent scout spotted her and introduced her to her talent manager,Ogie Diaz.At that time,she couldn't speak Filipino language fluently,her talent manager encouraged her to become fluent in the language so she can have a good spot in showbusiness.
2011
Year 2011,viewers first saw her in Wansapanataym,a Philippine fantasy-drama anthology.She played the role Mac in the episode:"Wansapanatym:Mac Ulit-Ulit".
After a year,she then had a minor role as Claire Raymundo in the afternoon serye,Kung Ako'y IIwan Mo.At that time,she was credited as Hope Soberano.At the same year,she again played a minor role in MMK,a Philippine Drama Anthology as young Gladys in the weeks episode,"MMK:Singsing".
2013

Year 2013,she was given a lot of projects to do.For the second time around,she again played a role in Wansapanataym as Dahlia in the episode,"Wansapanataym:Flores de Yayo" and in MMK as Una in the episode,"MMK:Box".She also guested as Pia in the Filipino Teen ComedySeries,Luv U.At the same year,she joined ASAP,a sunday afternoon variety show.She also appeared in Must Be...Love and She's The One.She's The One is a Filipino Romantic Comedy Movie starred by Bea Alonzo,DingDong Dantes and Enrique Gil.She played the role of Gillian,David's(Enrique Gil)bestfriend whom she secretly love.Also,Must Be...Love is a movie starring Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla.She played the role of Angel,Patchot's(Kathryn Bernardo)cousin and Ivan's(Daniel Padilla) another love interest.Must Be...Love is her Film Debut.Then followed by Got To Believe that is starred by KathNiel.She played the additional main cast and antagonist role of Alexa "Alex" Rodrigo.
2014
Year 2014,she played the role of Aileen in MMK's "Orasan" with Enchong Dee.

At the same year,she played the role of Maria Agnes Calay in Forevermore together with her onscreen loveteam,Enrique Gil whom played the role of Alexander "Xander" Grande III.It was Liza's first lead role.Forevermore was shooted in Baguio and was aired on October 27,2014 to May 22,2015.Staying there for a couple of months helped the tandem of Liza and Enrique or so called,"LizQuen"loveteam to be comfortable with each other.Their sweetness On and Off the screen and the undeniable chemistry helped gain a lot of fans.Forevermore was indeed a big break for Liza and also for Enrique.
2015

Later on,LizQuen's new movie,Everyday I Love You directed by Mae Cruz-Alviar was released on October 28,2015.Liza starred the movie with her onscreen partner,Enrique Gil and co-actor,Gerald Anderson.Liza plays the role of Audrey Locsin.
The story is about a young woman,whose boyfriend was in coma.Then,Ethan Joseph Alfaro (Enrique Gil),a workaholic young man from Manila who works in a TV company.As they spent time together,she realized that she is falling inlove with the man who makes her dreams come true.Then,her boyfriend,Tristan Montelibano (Gerald Anderson) woke up from his coma.Tristan was her first love and the man of her dreams.Then she was left torn between the man of her dreams and the man who makes her dream come true.
