The footsteps continued for a couple of seconds before they stopped. "right you start looking from the room at the end of the landing Luke, I'll start with this room"

"Alright," I heard Luke say, I heard steps again coming closer, I couldn't help but start to shake. What if they found us? What if these two were working for the unknown source? "relax" Brad whispered, putting his arm around me. "I c-can't" I whispered back, I bit my lip nervously, continuing to shake as the footsteps passed the room we were in.

"You found anything yet Luke?" Calum yelled, "No, nothing" Luke replied. "We need to get out of here, if he comes in here and finds us, we're screwed" Brad whispered. "so what do you say we do?" I ask, quietly. "we make a run for it," He said, I looked at him. "but your leg," I say, not sure of the idea.

Brad hurt his leg, even though he says it fine I know it's not because sometimes I can tell by his face that it is actually hurting him. "my legs fine, we need to get out of here yn" He says, I nod my head. I heard footsteps again, "take my hand and don't let go," Brad said to me, "Alright", I grabbed his hand. "Calum, you had any luck?" Luke yelled, his voice close. "not yet" "Ready?" "as I'll ever be, let's go," I say, we soon were out from behind the door and running out of the room, Brad in front of me behind while holding his hand as tight as possible. "hey, get back here!" I hear Luke yell from behind me.

We ran, "Calum!" Luke yelled and we ran past all the room and got to the stairs. "Luke, why are you yelling?" I turned my head slightly and saw a glimpse of Calum. "Get them!"

Brad was running down the stairs and I followed running down, being chased down the stairs was not good. "quick!" Brad yelled, as we ran out of the front door and ended up falling over something. I hit my head as I hit the floor. "Ow" "Quick get up," Brad said, I stood up and he was already up. "let's go," I say, as we started running again, away from the house.

I continued to hear the sound of people running and yelling from behind us, but we continued to run. "What are we going to do, we cant lead them back to the house," I say to Brad as we ran. "shit, you're right. Split up" He said, I looked at him confused. "What? split up are you crazy" I raised my voice a little. "we don't know who they are, if there's a slight chance that they're working for the unknown source and we lead them back to the house, we're screwed. It's the best thing to do." Brad said I nodded my head. "alright"

We continued to run, "In a minute, when the road has three different turnings, I'll turn right and you'll turn left, don't get caught and I'll see you back at the house," Brad said. "I'll try my best, and see you soon," I say, I and Brad looked at each other one last time before we both split up and ran in the direction Brad had planned for us to run in.

"I'll go left, you go right Luke!" I heard Calum yell. "Alright!" I heard Luke yell back, I kept on running not looking back, I had to think of a way to outrun Calum and to ditch him. I didn't know him, I didn't know how physically fit he was, or how long he could keep running before he had to stop, I just hoped that I would be able to keep running and not get caught because like Brad said and I thought, we didn't know who they were, they could be working for the unknown source, maybe they weren't but we couldn't take that risk.

"hey just get back here! I'm not going to hurt you!" I hear Calum yell to me, I kept on running while thinking, that's what everyone says before they hurt someone, I wasn't that stupid.

Calum's Point of View:

I kept running after whoever I was chasing, I didn't know if it was a boy or girl but by the looks of the ass on the person I believe its a girl but then again I'm not so sure. Whoever it was, boy or girl they could run fast but luckily for me I used to attend the gym back when the town had a gym, not now though but I could run fast too.
