Tagan Jesse woke up to his father's whisper. Tagan opened his eyes and jumped when he saw him. "We have to go," Jacob Jesse told his son. Tagan closed his eyes. "Five more minutes," he muttered. Jacob carried Tagan into the back seat of the their small red minivan. Tagan sleepily buckled up and leaned back his head. He smiled. He shut his eyes. He knew that his dad was taking him to the hospital to visit his mom and the new baby. Everyone except him knew the gender. He hoped it was a boy. He hoped it was a boy badly.
