Chapter 1: A New Fate

       It's been a hundred years since Earth was abandoned because of a huge chemical explosion. My name is Simon. I live on the big, Outer space, American, Terrestrial ship. We call it B.O.A.T. On the B.O.A.T there are tons of culture centers. My best friend Kamina and I go to the Japanese culture center and practice swordsmanship and archery with Master Kiritsigu. He's been like a father to me since my parents were executed for having two children, because of the lack of resources and oxygen we have controlled population, when I was born, the second child sacrificed his life for my older brother's and mine. One day Kamina and I heard on the news that the government was about to send prisoners to Earth, and Kamina said, "This is our chance, lets go." and I asked him, "How would we get in prison." so Kamina answered," Figure something out." and he left. I went to master Kiritsigu and he told me to do what I needed to do and said he would give me a present on the day I would leave. I stole extra oxygen packs and gave them to the poor people on the B.O.A.T. Kamina and I broke into the vault holding the most valuable stuff on the B.O.A.T, which would surely get us arrested. I stole the Dragon handle sword for protection.
