I raced to school early that morning, hoping to get past the “populars” before they could see me. I ran behind the year 8 English building only to find….fuck. James and Christian, I pounced backwards hoping they didn’t notice me, I crept forwards trying not to be noticed, I was just going to wait until they left. There was no was way I was going out into the open. I couldn’t help but to overhear their conversation. “You should definitely go out with Maddy! She really likes you” James whispered. “She’s not my type” He replied back. “What is your type then?” He whispered a bit louder. Christian sighed. I crept a little closer, trying to hear. “Your nuts if you don’t want to go out with her, she’s stunning” James said even louder. I heard them walk away. I looked around the corner, seeing Christian staring in my direction. I quickly crept back and sat on the floor hoping he didn’t see me. I closed my eyes for 5 seconds and when I opened them…….there he was…..shit. His black hoodie over his head with his black messy hair covering his eye. He raised his eyebrow and smiled “hi”. I blushed like an idiot. He held out his hand signalling to help me up off the floor. I grabbed his soft, warm, hand and smiled. “What were you doing on the floor?” He laughed; I never noticed that he had an American accent before. I couldn't help but blush "I was just-" Luckily I was cut off by the bell. thank god. " I have to go" I said, seeing poppy and James approaching. "See you later" he smiled
