In art class, we have started portraits. Don't get me wrong, I've always loved drawing people, especially when I can base it off an irl person (see my last drawing for proof;) ) but I'm completely new to the "proper way" to draw people. Normally I just wing it and it ends a little out of proportion in some small areas but I don't stress it and move on.
The proportions part is going to just take some practice, especially in the eye to nose bridge area, but overall it looks shockingly a lot like me... so ya, win for Rachel.
