It's nine o'clock in the morning and my dickhead step-father already has my mother and me up to get ready to move to Chicago, we're moving for his stupid ass.

As you can tell I highly dislike my step-father and I don't want to move. Not that I have many friends here in Atlanta, just people I hang around with to have a smoke or a drink with every once in a while.

My mom thinks the move will be "a wonderful, new start for me."

Yeah because moving from my home town will make me a completely new person.

"Nicholas, come on! The cars packed we're leaving."

I walk down the stairs and through my empty kitchen, and make my way through the door, and into the car.

I put my earphones in and try to fall asleep for this long ride.
