I turned my Ipod up as loud as it would go Breaking Benjamin blaring in my ears. Blowing the hair from my eyes I looked up the street for a car. Any car. Spotting one to my right I watched it from the corner of my eye trying to time this just right.
Taking a deep breath I started across the street, eyes to the ground.
I couldn't hear a thing over the music, not even the tires sqealing as the oncoming vehicle tried to avoid hitting me. I stopped and waited for the oncoming hit. The pain before the blessed nothingness. He was driving way to fast and tried to stop way to late to avoid it.
I'm finally going to die.
Time slowed more and more the closer the car got.
'Show me how it ends it's alright
Show me how defensless you really are
Satisfied and empty inside...'
I looked on into the oncoming vehicle's lights.
Then everything went black.
Hello, just a beginning to something that will hopefully be good.
