Humans.

The word reminded you of selfish beings who only care for their well being.

Ghouls.

The word was a reminder of yin and yang. There are good monsters out there to.

You.

You are human, and want to make peace with ghouls.

They have every right to live with humans as much as humans deserve to stay on the face of earth.

So why can't we just get along???

(Y/n) walked down the streets and into a coffee shop. Your nose picking up of expresso and some ghoul stentch. You always wanted to meet the ghoul that seems to hide in the shop. You know it's a ghoul,but what confuses you is that it's mixed with human.

You can't describe it but you can tell the smell of a ghoul or a human. It helps you in life.

Thoughts like that keep coming in your mind as you took a seat in a booth.

A waitress came over and asked for your order.(Put order here), and she left. She was beautiful. Purple hair, motherly eyes and pale skin. You wanted to become her friend. You smiled to your self and sniffed the air once more before taking out a book and reading it.

Kaneki seemed a bit nervous at the counter. His face seemed to have a red tint,and his eyes keep darting at the girl you just took an order from.

"Touka!"

You grabbed the order and gave it to Kaneki." Go ahead big shot." You mentally smirked. You loved messing with the kid.

Kaneki widened his visable eye. Stuttering, he walked carefully to the girl.

Every since Hide was beaten up by Nishio, Kaneki has been emotionless unless he was around the said human.

But you guess he's taking a liking to this.. you sniffed the air.

Weird, all you can smell is Kaneki's scent.....

You set down your book as you herd steps coming near.

A boy, black hair, eye patch,and black eyes came up. He set down your (order), and said he'd be right back with your coffee.

He seemed nice. And smelt of that intoxicating smell.

The boy came back and set down your drink. "Is there anything else I can do?" He asked in a polite manner." May I ask why you smell of human and ghoul?" You asked.

You really wanted to know,but he seemed to stiffen.

"I'm sorry if it's personal." You stated. He eased back to his formal posture and smiled." It's fine, many ask me that!"

She knows...

She can sence the ghoul in me.

She giggled and drank some of her coffee.

I walked back to Touka, explaining what just happened.

"Maybe she's a ghoul?-"

"Or a smart human." Touka snapped back." Either way, she said she could smell it in me."

I looked back at her, she doesn't look much like the killing type.

"Does it occur to you she could be a hybrid like you?"Touka said. I snapped my head to the ghoul. Could she be like me? If so, I'm not alone! Those myths Uta and his friends were talking about were probably true!

"How do we know for sure though?" Speak of the devil.

Touka widened her eyes and placed shades on the said ghoul." Well Kaneki here can ask, right?" She faked a wide smile. That got me nervous. Uta smiled,scenierly, and patted my back." You got this..." his voice didn't help that statement reasure me.

I luaghed nervously and started heading my way to the,suposed, hybrid girl.
