First day of scho-
wait that's not a catchy introduction... uhhh...
Hey guys! Today is my first da-
that's just too cliche.. You know what! how bout dis?
It was a dark and stormy night when the phone rang and..
this isn't a horror story! This story is supposed to be about the life of a teen 9th grader!
Walking through the crowded halls of an only girls high school, I notice how ugly and uncomfortable the school's new uniforms are. Ignoring how I look, I walk into my new classroom looking for somewhere to sit. I take a seat behind my 2 closest friends and scare them from the back.
"Beth!" Heather jumps out of her seat and gives me a hug.
"WHERE have you been during summer? We missed you!" Lea exclaim.
" I missed you guys like crazy! So so so sorry I couldn't keep in touch with you two during the holidays, my mom had this work thing back in Liverpool and I was super busy taking care of my little sister. And plus, who has time to afford international calls."
We hug and take our seats as our new teacher walks in to our classroom.
"Holy moly is he new?" Some girls whisper and giggle with each other. "Looks like it."
"Hello, girls! My name is Thomas Theodore, you can call me Mr. Tom for short, and I will be your new computer sciences teacher for this semester. Before we head our ways to the computer lab, let's introduce ourselves by telling your new classmates your name, nationality, and a little something about your self like your future career plans. Yes you, please start" He says whilst pointing at Heather.
"My name is Heather, I am from Washington, and I guess I want to be an author when I'm older."
"The name is Lea and I am Canadian. I am thinking of becoming a mathematician"
"I'm Mabel and I am from here, this country. My future career, I hope, would be a fashion designer."
The class went on introducing themselves until it was my turn.
"Hi, uh.. my name is Beth, uh Bethany and I'm from Liverpool... um, England I mean. When I grow up I want t-to... I don't know, I- " I sat back down because I am an awkward little rat. And to be honest I really don't know, the teacher and the class looked at me strangely as they continued their 'introductions'.
