Another year, he thinks, pulling at the collar of his shirt as he neared the school. A frown graced itself upon his lips. To put it bluntly, Castiel hated school and would rather do literally anything else, but go today. For example, he'd even rather be tortured by some psychopath and possibly be killed. On the other hand, there was one upside to having to go back to high school for another year, his second to last year, to be exact; he would once again get to see the beautiful Dean Winchester.
Ever since middle school, Castiel has had a crush on the attractive jock, although there were only a few occasions where he had ever actually spoken to Dean. He thinks back to the first time he had been graced with the jock's presence, smiling.
Ah, middle school. He smiles bitterly at the not-so-cheerful memories of getting his head dunked in the toilet. His hair soaked with the absolutely disgusting water that the toilet had to offer. He shook his head, wishing he would have had a chance of fighting back. Kids had always been mean to him, especially since he was a bit what most people would call, weird. It wasn't as if he had ever meant to be the odd ball out, though. If he was being honest, he truly wished that he was a normal kid; popular, attractive looking, kind, but not too kind.
This was a new year, though, a new opportunity for him to once again get his head dunked in a toilet in the boy's room. Or perhaps, that wouldn't happen with the new friend he had made over the summer. Although, he had technically met her the year before when he had her in his Biology class.
Meg Masters was the opposite of him; loud, obnoxious, said what was on her mind, and overall, a total badass. A complete and utter opposite.
Despite all the difference, they had become pretty well friends over the summer. The only reason they hadn't become friends during school was because Castiel had tended to avoid interacting with anyone whatsoever. Well, all except his other brother Gabriel. Even with Gabriel, he only spoke with the other when they were alone, when none of Gabriel's jock friends were around to make fun of him or to taunt him.
He was confident now that he wouldn't have too many problems with any bullies, seeing Meg had vowed to protect him, not like he necessarily needed the protection.
However, despite how much he enjoyed Meg's company, they hadn't necessarily met on the best of terms. In fact, if he could, he would like to erase the whole memory as if it had never even happened. In short, he had the lovely pleasure (sarcasm) of walking in on Meg having sex with his twin brother, Jimmy. He honestly hadn't even meant to walk in on them, it wasn't like his twin had bothered to tell him that he would be having company.
He remembered every inch of the horror, the girl on top of his brother, not only that, but his twin brother, who look exactly like him, completely naked. It wasn't like he didn't appreciate the fact that his brother was at least having intercourse in his own room, and it wasn't like the female body disgusted him, but the real thing that bothered them was the fact that they had kept going even when they had seen that he had walked in. That is what had made him regret ever stepping foot into that room. Of course, afterwards Meg had apologized to him and had formally introduced herself, but still. They had kept going even after they had noticed him walking in.
Anyways, onto the real problem at the moment; high school. Upon walking into the school's parking lot, he kept his head low, trying to avoid even so much as making eye contact with anyone. Anything was a risk for him, seeing he had once been harassed for so much as staring at the jock Alistair for far too long. In reality, he had only glanced to the other for a split second before the other had sought it fit to pin him to a locker and threatened to punch him. Guys like Alistair was why he hated high school, why he wished that he was just as popular as Gabriel was, or even like Jimmy. As he entered the building, he made a strict b-line to where he knew his locker would be, quickly unlocking and began to shove what he didn't need into it.
