Chapter 1

I was sitting in my room listening to music and reading fanfiction when my dad knocked on my door.

"Dallas can I talk to you about something?"

I took out my earbuds and looked up "Yeah what is it?"

He walked in and stood at the end of the bed,this must be something bad.

"I know you might not understand,but I got a new girlfriend and she is from Australia..." he took a breath "and I want to go and meet her,and you have to come."

I sat there for a little while then spoke "But we don't even have passports...and how can you already have a new girlfriend? Mom just died last year..."

"I know but I know your mom wouldn't want me to be sad for the rest of my life..." he walked over to me then gave me a hug.

"Passports?"

"We are going to get them today,but if you still are mad you get to finally go to Australia!" he said happily. "I know how you always wanted to travel..."

"OK you are right there but I know nothing about her."

"Don't worry you would."

"Can I at least get a name?"

"Her name Anne and have three kids."

"Ok thanks"

"You can go back to reading now,thanks for being ok with this!" he said giving me a hug but I lightly push him off,I hate hugs.

"I know,I know only band members can hug you."

"No!"

"Oh and YouTubers I forgot." with that he left my room.

I picked up my phone and got out of the fanfiction messaged my best friend.

'I have news for you tomorrow!' then went back to the story.
