I was waiting in the Cullen house waiting for everyone to get out of their beds. (Vampires don't sleep) Edward was standing beside me with our hands tangled together.
"When is Renesmee going to be up?" I asked. I was very impatient. I never had to worry about this before because this is my first night as a vampire.
"I guess your impatience hasn't gone down at all." Edward chuckled. He knows me so well. "She'll be up in a few minutes." Edward was interrupted by Renesmee's cooing. "Speaking of which..."
Edward left me and I heard a rap on the door.
I ran down the stairs and saw Jacob Black standing at the door. There was no vehicle in the driveway, which made me wonder how he came here.
I opened the door and greeted Jake with open arms. "How are you, Jake?"
"I guess you could describe it as 'good'. Paul has been staying at my house for the past week and I just needed out of there. So, I figured I'd stop by." Jacob said.
"Yeah, cool. Ness - er... Renesmee just woke up and I want to see her. I just became a vampire, so please..."
I ran upstairs and saw Renesmee in Edward's arms. I looked at her and she said her first word.
"Momma".
