⇢ gerard died

⇢ mikey was the one who needed to tell this to frank and he was thinking about how to, but then he saw the message frank sent and he just left him to think that gerard has broken up with him, mikey thought that it's for the best, so you probably thought that gerard was the bad guy here, but no. there isn't a bad guy (ig)

⇢ each passing day frank grew angrier, he started blaming and swearing at gerard, sending more degrading texts. mikey, the one who reads the texts, got sick of it and beat him up

⇢ after that incident and with days passing by, he slowly accepted that gerard left him and knew he had to keep going, and for this he felt like he had to see gerard for the last time, for old times' sake. so he went to their home to visit him.

⇢ gerard's mom invited him in, told him everything. during this conversation, mikey heard the sounds of crying and went down, frank saw mikey's shocked face, right before he noticed that he held gerard's phone in his hands

⇢ the realization that gerard is dead and mikey was the one who has been reading his texts hit frank hard as he immediately left the house, feeling worse then ever

⇢ frank deleted his and gerards conversation right before he tooks his own life
