Matt's POV
I am Matt Andrew delos Reyes! I am 17 years old. I am residing here in Cali for 7 years now. We needed to leave the Philippines 7 years ago because of a serious threat my family received. Papatayin daw kaming lahat kaya we had to stay somewhere "safer". Lately ko lang din nalaman, nung may private investigator na nagpunta sa bahay namin para ibalita kay daddy na patay na raw ang nagtangka sa mga buhay namin dati! It was a relief! It was all because of a business deal that was cancelled due to controversy and self - interest.
Seven long years, and I am still suffering from this "little crush" I have on my childhood friend Kienne. Out of the blue bigla ko na lang naalala ang drawing ko ng hospital where Kienne and I would be working in the future. Bata pa ako noon, nagagandahan ako kay Kienne. Bagay sa kanya maging nurse. Oh well, as for me, it has been my ultimate dream na maging doctor. Sa seven years, we never had any communication or connection of any sort. Not that I do not know how to use the social media, it's just that akala ko permanent na ang paghihiwalay namin. Kaya I never bother to check her on fb or twitter.
After knowing that we are safe, I started stalking Kienne's social media account. I tried typing in her complete name: Kisha Vivienne Buendia, no results found! (Sad -( naman). I tried Kisha Buendia, no results found. Last attempt: Kienne Buendia! And viola!!! Ang daming friends: 4734! Last post dated March 22, 2016 (kahapon), first day of summer vacation!!! I got tempted to look into her photos. Daming tagged photos. Mostly NSTP or CWTS activities nila. I checked her album on profile pictures. There I saw Kienne on a nursing uniform looking so vibrant and alive! So ... tinuloy niya pala (bigla akong napaisip). Ako kaya ang dahilan why she's taking up nursing? When I saw her pics, I can't describe how weird my heart beat was. She looks slimmer now! And she still has those almond eyes that definitely melt hearts!
BTW, my parents are considering the possibility of going back to the Philippines. I think tatapusin lang namin hanggang July.
