Dark vs. Light

Has anyone ever felt like the darkness takes over and you have no control but then someone or something comes into your life and they are lightness and you try to fight away the darkness and cling on the lightness? Well that's me. I'm a fighter with a lot of wounds from the darkness but my friends help me and my amazing girlfriend is my world, my light, my everything. She makes me smile a real smile. When I hear her voice I never have to worry anymore and I feel safe. I'd do anything for her like get her what she wants, make her smile, hold her when she's sad and protect her when she's scared or in danger. So if your reading this beautiful, I love you so much and thanks for showing me the light again.
