        Chapter one:

Jeremiah's POV:

Some people have burning bright flames in their souls, but not me. The only burning bright thing is my lighter flickering on to light my fifth cigarette today. My light was once bright but went out when my mom died and my dad became a raging alcoholic. I knew then I was no longer the loved child but the problem. I was unwanted, but I'm not the only one.

I look in to the mirror my long black hair is a mess so I throw on a beanie once again. I also throw on my baggy hoodie. I grab my back pack and head out the door. My dads passed out on the couch and I'm not thrilled about today anyways. Today is my birthday and the anniversary of my mothers death. It was all my fault. She was going to take me to a surprise and the truck came from nowheres. She died on impact and I was in a coma for 8 months.

I was popular but that changed after that. I couldn't play soccer anymore so my popularity flew out the window. None of my "friends" care about me or they would be here. They only wanted to be friends with me when it benefited them. Is that how everyone is? My girlfriend even left me because as she so bluntly put it she has a reputation to up hold.

I walk through the school doors. God this isn't where I wanna be on my eighteenth birthday. I look down at my shoes and walk forward and then bump in to a girl. She fumbles about and I quickly grab her to steady her balance. I look up to see a curly blonde haired, emerald green eyed girl. There's blue and purple streaks in her hair and one side is shaved. She is quite beautiful and you can tell hidden under those baggy clothes is a great figure. She smiles and I look stupidly at her. She says," I'm Alex, uh and sorry I bumped into you I am new here."

She's talking to me. Crap, what the hell do I do. "Uh.." I stutter, "do you need me to show you around?" She looks down at her shoes and shakes her head. "Uh ok then have a nice day." I say showing no emotion. I don't care I'm used to this.

"You're unwanted." She says. I turn around and look at her fighting back the urge to scream at her.

"Yeah, so what?" I say. This girl is crazy. The hell she mean unwanted. I was just trying to be nice but no.

"I'm not crazy," she says calmly, "I was just asking a question." I look at her stunned. The hell, did she just read my mind? No that's crazy. Crap what do I say? Should I say what? And try to play it off like she doesn't know what she's talking about or should I flip out? No don't flip out she's probably just pulling my leg. "I'm not pulling your leg I can read your mind." She said. What?! "I am unwanted and well we are special, I knew you where when I saw you." She says calmly.

Ok so she is crazy and now I'm crazy too. Special the hell does she mean? What is going on? "We need to leave now!" She says grabbing my arm. Everything goes black....

When I wake up there's four girls staring at me. I see Alex but I don't know these three. I mean don't get me wrong I would like to get to know them. "Ew don't have those thoughts these are my sisters." Alex says making a disapproving face at me.

I shrug and look at her then ask, "Where the hell am I?" She sighs loudly and rolls her eyes. "Answer me I need to know!" I say raising my voice.

"Why do you need to know?" She asks. I look at her shocked. Is she for real. She took me to where ever the hell this is and is reading my mind but she asks why do I need to know. Hmph this is ridiculous.

"The better question is why don't I need to know." I say sarcastically. I pull out my lighter and light my cigarette my hands shaking a bit as I bring the cigarette to my mouth. "I'm not moving till you answer my questions." I say. She smiles and turns away from me and walks up to a brunette and begins having a conversation I can't hear. The brunette walks over to me she smiles and leans down blowing gently on me. I feel light as a feather. Am I floating I don't know and I don't care as long as she's doing it.

Wait, what am I talking about I am not going anywhere. Not for anyone. As I think this I feel the weight coming back to me. I open my eyes to see the brunette looking at me with a shocked expression.
