Warped tour

Chapter 1

Becky's PoV

"Hey guys, uh I just got a call from the organisers of Warped tour, they want you guys to be there!" Jeff says walking into our band meeting.

We all jump up and celebrate. We are heading to warped tour. I sat back in my chair with my mouth wide open.

"Becky, we are going to warped tour! This is your dream!" Nathan shouts holding a beer in the air. I nod and just laugh. This is the happiest i have been ever. Like, in my life.

After we finished up the meeting we headed out to the bar. Time to celebrate.

Nathan, yet again, drinks a couple more beers before he is completely drunk. He stumbles and lies on the couch at the back of the room. My other band mates, Jay, Nick, Logan and Sam  all head to the pool table where they attempt to play beer pong.

Me being the only one who is not highly intoxicated, I pull out my phone and text my friends.

To Lynn: hey, guess who's coming to warped tour? ;)

From Lynn: no way, are you kidding, omg wait I have to tell Chrissy and Tay.

To Lynn: okay ttyl xxx.

I lock my phone and shove it into my pocket. Lynn and I have been best friends since we open for PVRIS on their tour.

"Let's freaking lose our minds!!!!!" Nathan shouts sitting up before passing out again. How in the world does Jeff expect me to bring four childish guys on a tour around America.

"Guys I'm going to bed, try not to break anything." I yell as I leave the bar. I hear three murmur of a "bye becky" and then I walk down the hall.

Replace my band tee and skinny jeans for some shorts and a normal top. I check Twitter and Facebook before heading to the warped tour official site. I check the line up. Most of the usual bands are there. We are the in crowd, falling in reverse, tonight alive, pvris, black veil brides, all time low, pierce the veil and sleeping with sirens......and some other bands. I scroll to the end of the page until I reach an update.

Notice: a new band has been added to the lineup "5 seconds of summer" are now playing at all locations along with the rest of the lineup."

Who the fuck are 5 seconds of summer. I pull up the YouTube tab and search the band. As I listen to some of their songs I find myself humming along, they are really good, but they don't seem like a warped tour band.

I begin to look at pictures of the band until I come across a face I thought I would never see again.......Ashton freaking Irwin.

I put away my laptop and lie down after a long day, why didn't Ashton mention the band? I mean I know I haven't seen him in high school but we kept in contact for a while. My thoughts finally tire me out and I fall asleep.

"Beckyyyyyyy, beccaaaaaaaa, Rebeccaaaaaaaa, Rebecca Taylor Michaels wake the fuck up right now!" I hear Nick scream.

I turn over to see all the guys staring at me with dead eyes. They all look like shit, if I'm gonna be honest.

"What do you want now?" I grunt. They all sigh. "Becky it's 2 in the afternoon, we are going out to buy clothes for the tour because we leave tomorrow!" Logan says enthusiastically. I shoot up out of bed.

"Okay.......get out!" I say, watching them run out of my room before I change into a dark grey jumper and black jeans. I slip on my vans and head to our jeep.

(AN: sorry but I'm just going to skip the shopping trip)

I finally get back with the guys from our shopping trip. Placing the many bags from hot topic on my bed, I take a shower because I have nothing to do, plus it means I get an extra hour of sleep tomorrow.

After I get out of the shower, I throw some shorts and a hoodie on and begin to fold my clothes. All day I have been thinking about how Ash never told me and, all of a sudden, an idea pops into my head. I head to Twitter and post. 

Becky Michaels: Can't to be touring with Tay, Jenna, Vic, Alex,Lynn and Ashton! Can't wait to see you all tomorrow!

After I send it,  everyone replies, apart from ashton. I pick up my suitcase and leave it by the door. My phone buzzes with a twitter notification. 

Ashton Irwin: Becky DM me?

I sigh and go to direct message.

To Ash: What do you want Irwin.

From Ash: I wanted to congratulate you on the success of the band. I'm sorry for not contacting you and I'm sorry about not telling you about the band.

To Ash: I gotta go Ashton, I'm not in the mood to talk anymore.

And with that, I go to bed. I have a long day ahead of me and an even longer summer.
